RE: Invest what you're prepared to lose23 Nov 2019 14:19
Nobody is trying to influence anyone. It is up to you how you invest and when you de-risk or sell out completely. What I have learnt on AIM, is that if it is too good to be true, it usually is. The first lesson of AIM is to de-risk your investment. That is what I have individually learnt. There are many investors on here who are sat on huge paper profits and if that is what floats their boats, then so be it. I genuinely hope they make a handsome return on their investment, but what I have witnessed on this bb over recent weeks, is that as soon as the sp is in decline, most of you turn toxic and sell up completely or top slice. All my bro and I are saying, is that we top slice too, in order to de-risk our investment. Surely, it makes sense to be on a free carry than to watch all of your investment disappear over night? Each to their own I suppose. I will de-risk drastically if there is no rns first thing on Monday morning and will leave a nominal amount in my ISA to reflect where I think this is 'eventually' heading to. Timescales do impact on share prices and I do not think that a get rich scenario will unfold on here. Whilst I do not dispute what we have in the way of assets etc, I don't think they are in any rush to sell. I have actually listened to the Proactive Dimitry interview today. Whilst I still struggled with his accent, I did hear him saying that he is not going to be rushed on a few occasions. They seem to have enough cash and are clearly looking to achieve the best possible price for their assets. They turned down the 50 million Sinosteel payment as they have enough cash from the exercise of warrants. I personally cannot see them making a deal any time soon as a direct result of this and it is for this reason that I can see a lot of the traders cashing their chips in and moving off to pastures new. I do think the sp will decline as a result and when things start to pick up again in the future, the same crew will arrive in mass. I do not want to be anchored with a higher sp average than those returning investors and will gracefully move on if no rns on Monday. I am sure CS will be keen to stabilize the sp and to calm the troops down as early as he can. I think he must have had to write an rns yesterday afternoon for release first thing Monday - hence the Nomad getting involved. I think Dimitry might have spilled the beans on something, but who knows? I am sure all will become clear next week.
