RE: Repost from Friday3 May 2020 10:51
I invested in this share on Friday morning and the way I see it is that this is either going to be amazing or will not work for whatever reason. We will all find out over the next few weeks in any case.
The reason why I invested is as MAJCO said in an earlier post:
“the antigen is really the engine of the test and we’ll build the rest of the capability around that.”
It just reaffirms what we already knew, the affirmer reagent is the key building block, everything else is built around it. Avacta owning the commercial and intellectual rights mean our ‘engine’ can be housed within the various Pharmas/chassis around the world.
Avacta are providing the engine, Cytiva/Adeptrix are providing the chassis’.
How many more will want access to Avacta’s engine?
On or off the record, I invested because I think that we will all get the good news we hope for in the next few weeks. Avacta having the intellectual and commercial rights is key and why I am confident with my investment. There will no doubt be many more applications of this technology, maybe for future pandemics too, who knows? There is also the cancer work they hope to deliver news on during the last quarter of the year.
I would ignore the daily trading on this. Doesn't really bother me if it goes down to 90p or up to 120p. In time, all irrelevant imo.
