I fear that this share is on of those shares that belongs to the Chairman. The boss. He would eat your purchase with a placing. If they found a big diamond in the mud there would be a dilution. It has been that way since time immemorial. Soon will be news then another placing I fear. I am King Howe.

I remember OPTI's rise. I bought in over there after the float at under 10p. Sold them on the way up unfortunately but can make comparisons here. OPTI went down to 8.75 at one point then rose from there, each day there seemed to be tranches of 100k sells, like the rise was managed, no one got spiked.. Here you can see 50k trades going through on the sell side so as to keep the rise under the radar. I bought in here at 13 way back when but I'll watch the chart and if it hits 14p I'll top up. I only average up, I never average down.

You would think that the BOD would clarify the position somewhat! The market never likes uncertainty. Some got spiked when the share hit 2.50 a couple of weeks ago, now 172... It's almost remiss of the directors not to inform the market.

I hope so because there is no greater coiled spring in my portfolio than this share.

We can't say for sure what's gone on but I agree that this may 'pave the way' or 'make smooth' or 'diffuse the situation somewhat' - pick your phrase but I bed there has been an almighty row with Brad Gordon thinking his position to be untenable. There is still no deal till 2018 and the BOD is 'as is' until then. Lots to come... watching....

I still don't get where the extra gold went. Who had it? The board of Acacia has vehemently denied the existence of it. If Acacia has to pay when will they next make a profit. Acacia pays UK tax. What does HMRC say about this missing gold? This is as clear as mud.

Will this involve H.M Customs and Revenue. Under declaring revenue is a criminal offence. This deal sounds like an admission of guilt. Can you really say what the deal is. What is the 300 million for? Is it a bribe? Is it compensation? If compensation, where can you see the sale of the excess gold in the accounts? There are all kinds of regulatory breaches here if Tanzania is right. So many questions.

Why have barrick agreed to pay yet there is no admission of guilt to the charges put forward by Tanzania, i.e. that revenues generated from gold have been under declared. If it is true that revenues were indeed under declared where did the money go? Where is the billions of dollars? Who got it? Acacia shareholders didn't get it because it's not in the audited accounts. So where is the revenue that was under declared. I'm sorry but this sounds like a cover up. I think Barrick are trying to cover itself by brushing it all under the ****et with this deal Current shareholders have to suffer a period of no dividends for a past indiscretion for which there was no benefit in the accounts. Where is the money that current shareholders have to compensate Tanzania for?

without the permits Condor owns nothing but someone else's land. The government needs to make a strong decision, If yes then be proactive if no let everyone get on with their lives. This stasis is no good for no one.

I sold out today because I don't think ACA is a company in its own right anymore. I think it is a puppet. Barrick has had its coin and is throwing this to the wolves.
