In any litigation you go after the money. For Tanzania that meant go after Barrick not Acacia. I think this deal is to save Barrick from a potentially damaging litigation at the expense of Acacia Mining. Acacia shareholders have to pay not Barrick. Although Barrick own 63% of Acacia that is 5% of their MCAP and revenues. It seems to me that Acacia is being calved up. Acacia's position is they did nothing wrong so why do the shareholders have to pay 300 million and lose a significant proportion of their assets. Reading the RNS issued by Acacia it seems they don't like the deal and would have to approve it. On the face of it as a shareholder I would vote against it This is a Barrick deal not an Acasia deal. I would go to arbitration. I don't like it.

SBTX are presenting next month at the Wellcome Genome Campus in Cambridge which is home to some of the worlds top institutions in genomics and computational biology. They will be hobnobbing with the world's elite genome biologists. If what they have is what they say it is then they could be on to something really big. Definitely worth spending some time doing a bit of research here. Still early stage though as clinical trials are yet to start but there are multiple products in the pipeline. Not a very liquid stock though: some days no trades at all.
