I doubt it as boo dropped 9% Friday alone, so unless you bought it on the bell Friday 5-10% rise doesn't even get you back to Friday morning price. I think you're talking day trading at best

Don’t think a major lift here would have any dramatic affect on boo SP short term anyway. Do the maths - Even if this opened at 80p Boo Share would be 25% of the 60p rise so 180m/.25 - that’s 45m. Their market cap is currently 450 m so you could potentially add 10% as an uplift to their share price. Which is less that it dropped this week! (And that’s if it even gets baked in which, is up to the markets and the connection they make) So anyone hoping for some dramatic leap in boo off the back off revb will be disappointed ..

OP - Im not suggesting there won't be an offer at some point, who knows just don't think it's related to the continued suspension, or it shouldn't be. In general id prefer this to continue under its own steam, but wouldn't be annoyed either if a private equity offer came in - its primed for that type of acquirer with so much potential and such a low valuation. Lets get this valuation up first eIther way ..

MHL2020 no idea. I've been in many suspended stocks due to late accounts and they trade the next day. I suppose all we can go on are the reasons outlined, although odd. He certainly wouldn't by lying I'm sure when he says its LSE, I don't think he's that type. Also you can wilfully continue with a suspension due to a potential sale, they are 2 different processes.

And before anyone goes does the boo route again, their share price is continuing to collapse and they don't buy thriving businesses for a premium, just dud ones.

You can't sell a plc without a shareholder vote, this need to be published with voting forms via an EGM - so talk of any back door deal is nonsense - plus who would it benefit. if you hold 1 share or 10m your in the same boat at sale price. Also there is absolutely no need to sell it, it couldn't be hostile either as no one holds enough stock. There has never been any talk of a sale so not sure why it's even being mentioned.

'n the near term' is the new, less specific 'by month end' - and we are even less able to quantify what that means! its a cop out.

I actually bought a good few grand yesterday in low 3.40s at asos .. looks to have dropped to far at this stage! Especially with takeover rumours, likely value down here ..

It is bizarre. some excuse about internal controls, id say half the small caps trading have very little in place. It was suspended due to late accounts, nothing else, this happens often and shares trade the next day .. so why not here. we are liquid, we have a cash pile. Its as if they want to keep it off-market for some reason .. hmmm

The difference is most of the fast fashion businesses are in a loss s position this year (and still valued at 500m ish, ASOS, BOO etc) we are in a profit making position and are valued at 60m suspension price (we took our big hit already being 80% down since this time last year) .. beauty is also very different from clothing .. much more resilient.

You are obsessed with a boo takeover, its not going to happen imo, for the reasons I've described previously (firstly because they don't pay market price for any company, we are not in distress, and secondly cos they can't afford us!) - they are just a shareholder for growth.

Thing is Hosii, the pure ebit multiple is an obvious and clear way to measure mc and an SP but it doesn't always work that way. There are many companies out there are making a loss and they have multiples of the market cap of Revb. The market generally looks forward and you can add a large premium for 'potential' outside of standard measurements and current p/l. I think revb more than fits into this bracket and expect a large premium on basic multiples to be seen as per some peers. Its is a hot sector that is resilient to downturns also, so a relatively safe haven.

Dnwill nonsense, "near term' id say within a week to 10 days absolute tops. We should have been trading Monday morning, the only requirement is accounts, this other stuff won't be aligned in most business currently trading so I don't get why its required, first time I've seen this! Unless again they are holding it back for a reason ..

swinging into good profit after all the **** internally, covid, market downturn etc etc and adding to cash in the bank every quarter. shares will be hot for accumulation on trading .. not many companies in b2c consumables in this space currently making money... massive upswing as markets change inevitable ..

Loses were expected and purely down to write downs, the fact we are now a profit making business with good cash in the bank now .. onwards and upwards .. 'trading near term' a bit ambiguous - should have really been Monday morning after results today which is annoying. Hope their 'near term' isn't 10 months :)

Yep 150m revenue PA and 10m profit is worth a hell of a lot more than 60m mc for a growing company (often on x30-40 PE) - look at our peers .. I also recon he's underselling the forecast ... Boo are in a loss position and have a 500m mc .. go figure!

so we now in profit in a growing market with 14m in cash - looks good - onwards and upwards.

To be fair id be gutted with 50p after all this, and so would those that bought 2 month prior to suspension as they would still be 50% down. But not calling it either way as traders could ruin the party as always.

Im basing it on the dramatic expansion into the US we have seen during suspension, and also on the fact that the sp was basically fake on suspension due to fear and fund selling, I just can't see us valued at less than 'pre-fear' prices based on this. My point was that taking bets with strangers without the intrims seems pointless. We should be near 25m ebit on forward looking if not more which points to 200-250m mc or 80-90p minimum - caveat is where an irrational market pins it, maybe higher maybe lower, its impossible to predict. Massive short squeeze coming either way ...
