Have never liked the concept of shorting or indeed derivatives generally. The Derivatives exam I passed many years ago was the hardest exam I ever sat and I have no idea how I passed it! However I never bought into the theory that these activities are important to a free market and helping mitigate risk. They just create further unnecessary volatility in markets.
I just want to find shares with potential and invest
and share in their success. Hopefully Predator will be one!

It is always good to be aware of all sides of any situation but I don’t quite follow what negative posters are trying to achieve. If you feel negatively about a share I assume you are not invested and therefore why waste time and energy putting your views up on that’s share’s chat board; if you are invested what is the point of putting up negative lists? Whatever posters do on a chat board is not going to move the price so I just don’t get why negative posters waste their time and energy doing what they are doing?

Why do an Investor Presentation in the current circumstances unless you have something positive to say ..I predict an RNS before the meeting and the price nearer to 10p than 4p by the end of the week .. but WTF do I know holding stellar performers like RKH, BOR, POLY, CDL, BOIL, GGP, POW

No conflict of interest praising Margaret Thatcher whilst also flagging up a profligate local council (be it conservative, labour or any other party) wasting our money on lunatic schemes!
Politicians on all sides are so lightweight, inept and incompetent these days that I can’t help hankering back to a time when there were real giants on the political stage.
Can’t talk for the politics in Scotland but I always loved my trips over the border when I was still working; great and passionate people.

Thumbs up from me to Taxpayers Alliance. They sent 5 guys down her to Arundel 2 weeks ago to confront our dozy district council who have decided to knock down some garages that they have never maintained and build a 4 bedroom luxury BnB in the middle of the conservation area. It will cost well over half a million and independent projections already indicate it will lose money because the town is already stuffed full of BnBs charging half the price but lying empty for much of the year. It’s the economics of the mad house but local authorities and government couldn’t run a p*** up in a brewery these days so we have no chance! It is looking like the late seventies all over again but where is another Margaret Thatcher when you need her?

If this doesn’t go through 3p and on towards 4p in next few days I’m a Dutchman (hopefully not Wout Weghorst!)

We hit 5p three times last year and with this mornings presentation it can’t be far away again.

Removing higher rate tax relief on pensions should come before messing about with ISAs but if politicians think targeting the middle to better off is going to solve our problems they need to think again. Everything flows from wealth creation. Without wealth creation there would be no money for Welfare. Big problem we have now is that we have a Dependency State instead of a Welfare State .. people think oh no I’ve got a problem oh it doesn’t matter the state will bail me out .. we’ll no it shouldn’t!!

All these ups and downs could easily make you feel a bit sea sick. Hopefully reach the safe haven soon of a positive news update!
Problem of semi retirement too much time on one’s hands so keep checking!

This share has been good to me and very happy to see the small jump this morning. Very optimistic about this year. Got in way back in early 2000 at 7p when I cashed in some dot com shares at their peak and popped £2000 into GFM. Sold a 1/3 in 2007 at a £1 and another 1/3 very luckily at £1.50 during the 2018 spike. So it owes me nothing and if I can get £20,000 for my last 10,000 share I will be very happy!

Thanks Bailff .. I will .. don’t worry. There aren’t too many of these opportunities out there for investors and no plans to miss out! Base secured in August 2021 when I sold 1/3 at old price 7p. Will sell a small chunk of shares at each new milestone (£2, £3, £4 etc) all the way up to £14

Pump and dump with SAR is very difficult because most of us are here for the long game / the big payday when the years of research and patience come to fruition with a take over. This has been feeling like a pump and dump for a few weeks now but it’s too scary to sell some and then miss out on the big pay day which will almost certainly come out of the blue at 7am one morning! Hey ho that’s AIM for you. SAR and The Falklands are my 2 biggies for a few dream trips and an Aston Martin in retirement and been in both in quite a big way since 2010/11 but it’s a long old wait and at nearly 68 now the time frame for extra special fun is shortening!!

Perched on the hill of Èze Sur Mer) a short walk from train station in Eze. There is a fabulous terrace at a restaurant called the Chèvre d’Or in old Eze at the top of the hill (with incredible views) and the other one I would recommend is the Grill at the Hotel de Paris in Monte Carlo Casino Square again with stunning views and famous for its retractable roof so you could even dine under the stars (set menu is not prohibitive!!). Very jealous!!
