The only thing I can think of relates to the Lombard transfer back to Janus Henderson - there were about 23m shares transferred i.e. about 3% of the total shares in circulation. Janus possibly needed the cash hence the transfer and subsequent trades, albeit the various trades at 14.5m, 5m, 3.3m etc don't add up - but in the absence of any further info its difficult to fully understand what occurred. Looks like we may be recovering some lost ground today - long way to go though. SB

Buy price is 5.578p - just picked up another 150K. Only time will tell if I need to be sectioned....SB

It's actually worse than add - add the cash we have and there is now virtually no value attributable to the legacy mmx business - which was valued at c.£70m approx. one year ago. Still the selling continues and price declines despite SJL purchase and other reasonable purchases this morning. We are a simple, relatively transparent business who are part of a wider peer group where value is being recognised through consolidation and decent company valuations. Surely our major shareholders must be asking serious questions about their investments; and if I was them I would start acting to support the share price in the way SJL is trying to. SB

Scotty - just for clarity the ICM purchase was $41m - and as pointed out by SJL this was probably at the lower end of valuations due to the sensitive nature of the domain portfolio. By the end of this financial year mmx should have c.$10m in cash - excluding the $3m shareholder loan. So our purchased assets and cash are c.$50m - placing such a low valuation on the residual business it does not add up - driven by sentiment around the review, write downs, a background seller, and uncertainty over further share price pressure when the new shares are issued. Maybe they were registrations from the previous 7 days at higher prices? Would be good to get an update from mmx in the next couple of weeks on the launch progress with an indication of revenue. SB

I'm not saying a lowball would be acceptable - my point is the share price would benefit from an indication that the current price is daft and stop whoever is continuing to sell shares at this level. Although there may be a plan to push the valuation so low that we would exit under 10p. Which would be totally unacceptable but that's now almost double where we are!!!! SB

In some ways I would welcome a bid - if for no other reason than to bring a sense of reality to the current share price - even a lowball would help deal with the current company valuation which is ridiculous. SB

Nice one SJL. In time that should turn out to be a good purchase - let's hope that time is sooner rather than later. Anyone going to own up to selling the 1m earlier? SB

Who is selling at these levels? Seriously what on earth is going on here. Is there no floor to the price - what happens when the new shares are issued in 8 weeks / I never thought after so many years as an investor we would be here. There does come a point where management need to put their head above the parapet and show some concern, support - and I know Toby met with investors recently but come on this has gone too far to ignore. Crikey. I zoom off to Cardiff for a couple of days and check in tonight to more carnage. Whilst the level of selling volume is low - there is no escaping the total car crash we are going through - and the risk it gains further momentum. The market feeds on fear and there are no signs the company has anything to counter the negative outlook / today's news whilst meaningless in the grand scheme has a disproportionate effect to the extreme. At some point our management team need to offer something tangible and positive to stop this spiral - talking about a buying opportnity is just bllx - this is where out board of directors need to show some leadership - sub £50m valuation and is not acceptable. Sort it or sell it. SB

It might be a great city but it's not doing us any favours on the domains front is it...here's hoping the write down was sufficient - shocking bit of business by the previous management team. SB

I guess it just seemed unusual for those 121 to appear overnight the day after the early access programme launched. Close but no banana? If that's the case, and it was .eth holders registering - then surely some domains would have a premium pricing strategy - in addition to blockchain.luxe which must have a high value - there were a number of 4 letter domains also sold which I would have thought had a decent value? Plus some brands - seveneleven, lucozade, pizzaexpress etc. SB

Thanks SKK - should have done a bit of digging myself and not just asked the question. Different registrars seem to have different prices - EnCirca are Day 1 – $15,000, Day 2 – $3,750, Day 3 – $1,425, Day 4 – $750, Day 5 – $375, Day 6 – $150, Day 7 – $150. Thereafter looks like standard registration is $22.50 - presumably that's the renewal price as well. So based on these first day prices - we may have done pretty well - and hopefully for the rest of the week!! SB

It does appear they were purchased during the early access programme given the timing of the registrations. I did not see any reference do the $10k purchase price SKK - is this a figure you have seen quoted? The only indicator I saw referred to this period as one in which registrants will be charged an additional fee to secure the names of their choice. Interesting range of names being purchased- including blockchain.luxe - wonder what that went for!! SB

Indeed. .work has now sold more than 400K domains this year - low first year purchase - but decent renewal price from what I can see. Helps this years revenue but next year should see better impact. Strange that our two high volume domains have such appeal in district geographies - VIP in china and WORK in Japan. Wouldn't it be nice if LUXE has such an uptake.....! SB

Thanks SJL. It is clear premium sales and auctions masked our performance last year - our expectations were perhaps ahead of the curve - the business model is being rebalanced but it's sore. At some point there may be a need to look at overheads and cost of sales - but for now we have to place our confidence in the direction of travel - and accept the company needs to deliver. I would be dissapointef if there is no trading statement issued prior to year end or into early new year to inject some support to the share price / esp given the additional shares issued in Jan 19. SB
