common sense says EUwould be all over Cinovec and the other Lithium deposits with in the EU, but politicians are a slow lot, on the whole. They need to get with it sooner than later, a swift kick up the collective back side,lol

If I were anyone looking from the outside in on the EU and their need for Lithium and other products for the EV and static electric storage, I would would be flabbergasted that they would not be thinking about Cinovec and its worth to the WHOLE EU car industry Why would you want the Chinese etc to have to drop on you and have to buy your batteries from them at THEIR prices thus making your Car that much more costly that people wont buy them and buy a competitors , im sure the Chinese will sell batteries to who ever wants them but at what price? Come on EU you know it makes sense all in EU integrated , Mine, procesing, downstream and end product all within the EU ,Just as it was going to be done and still might be all done within the Czech republic .Czech could get the EU assistance AND spread the risk too, just thoughts of course...

Anyone know How the EU funds projects? If Cinovec AND all the down stream processing could be funded with help from the EU would that mean that the Czech government dont have to fork out anything?? but the project gets funded?
Does it come direct from EU? or would the Czech government have control of the funding?any way you look at it it could mean Czech republic dont have to fork out their own money , if ever they were going to via Diamo or who ever,to help EMH on their way with no risks to Czech republic money all gain. Diamo could be left with the envoirentmental clean up contract tho .... any thoughts?

Personaly best scenario is Babis Gets what he eants regarding election ,so he dont have other parties twisting his arm about Lithium ,IMO once elections are out of way and settled down we will see a clearer path to permitts and Diamo scapegoats and given minor role possibly, at most.

VW have 70 bn and we wouldnt want all of it lol to make this Cinovec project fully funded and even taken over but nothing like that happens quickly and VW are slower than most , with car batteries and Stationary storage systems I wonder if we would be upping production with that in mind down the line of course.

new to me is our interest in stationary storage systems tho, sounds like we could provide more than the Car/ Battery industry. ,

I dont know much about that side of things with regard to using Lithium except Tesla's stationary storage system in Australia .

Could that mean ,all mineral resources to remain within the Czech republic , rather than in the hands? which would lean more towards the processing of the Lithium through to end product in the Czech republic as much as possible ,? only a thought as im sure the translation is a good one.
