It was more that I remembered they "Solarworld", not BCN in 2014 were going the Hydroxide route ,and that they must of had a good idea that it was doable , more than any coordinated duel processing .

What is the level of purity for Hydroxide to be used in batteries anyone know? I see 56 point something % but not sure that refers to exactly,
And user samples will need to be run off to see if compatible with existing battery companies requirments that use Hydroxide ,if my memory serves me right but not 100% sure, did the Bcn german side of Zinnwald do something with testing on Hydroxide ? Could be mistaken on that as not near my research at moment.

my opinion of VW is that they check and double and triple check everything before they decide to discuss anyhting ! they are so slow but they are a billion $ industry I am sure they will have more than one source of Lithium supply but getting one on their door step means a local solid supply with right Off take aggreement , and maybe some investment before hand??? Others of course all wanting ,needing Lithium to some extent or another ,off take aggreements with one or more of the big players in the Battery/car industry would go a long way to help securing Finance , if you can show you can pay back a loan its more likely to be given and at the rates that you would like IMO mind!

long time no hear , things in Europe getting serious , if they want a competitive EV car industry They MUST have a supply they dont have to pay through the nose for, assist with the finance of Raw material mining and down stream processing etc

I think once we prove we can make hydroxide , for who? and have a pilot plant providing samples for who? Finance would be easy wouldnt it? Finance from who? if not EU
