At one point I saw the share price down 9.08 %, at the moment it is down 3.24% looks like the markets have realised it was a over reaction ,.and have corrected themselves somewhat.... All eyes will be in the dow Jones ...

Simon doesn't need to sack them, he just needs to keep on annoying them (doing a great job), and hopefully the CWU members will start to leave in droves ..... And hopefully RM can replace them with hardworking men and women, so the rest of us can start getting our post again ........

Cwu and it's members are happy to get paid by RM, but at the same act like rats and feed negative things about the company to media and Facebook/ twitter

If your not happy leave the Company, but every postie knows if they go elsewhere they will have to work to earn....

Competition experts predicted that DAF, a company based in Eindhoven in the Netherlands, will pay Royal Mail alone more than £17 million after the competition appeal tribunal in London ruled that both British companies should be awarded damages.

Well this time postie's have lost pay as a result of strikes , in lost days and reduction in overtime

If RM did not capitulate during the Xmas period , postie's , the non militant types, will think what chance of RM buckling in now...

So definitely I can see the 77% been somewhere in the low 60's

Also of the 97% of the 77% who voted yes , I can see this figure been below 85%

And lastly I can see 20k cwu members returning to work now

So this resounding yes vote the cwu are looking for , will infact be the opposite....

Strikes will be self defeating as workers return back to work....

And cwu will loose the momentum and the battle....

I think cwu have shot themselves in the foot with this idiotic decision... They will lose those postie's that are in doubt about VOTE YES

Many postie's I think would have given cwu one more chance to negotiate a deal with RM

But with this strike call, it's clear , cwu are intent in destroying RM

more strikes mean less pay

More strikes mean , loss of customers , means less job security
