Not a lot AdamP100 other than in my experience a P/E is normally based on full year figures which increases that valuation somewhat.

Unfortunately there are usual suspects who have no interest in fundamentals and are only looking for short term in and out trades. Personally I am not one of them having held for a number of years. I can see where this company is going and whether the price is 20p/50p/100p or anything else the fundamentals will win out in the end.

48p wasn't an overshoot based on what was happening at the time. Unfortunately despite 48p still undervaluing the company on fundamentals the subsequent falls in Vanadium price were seen as a shorting opportunity.

I don't really see a problem UKSteveg. The company bought back shares several years ago at higher prices than the ultimate lowest price. Turned out to be a great investment and I don't hear anyone complaining about that buyback. I think the majority know where this company is going over the next 5 years, if they did a buyback at 21p and the price went below that it wouldn't bother me as at some point in the future I am confident they will be 210p.

Let's say for arguments sake they spent $15m on a buyback plan then in 18 months time the share price is 65p. Then they announce that they are going into production on their own VRFB's, the cost will be $30m but don't worry it won't cost you shareholders a bean, because we will sell the $15m buyback for $45m, take the $30m to pay for the VRFB build and return the original $15m as basically a deferred dividend. Some would then see this as another Fortune masterstroke - but hey you heard it here first!

Just bought at 21.15. Don't be fooled by RED (the colour or the company).

Coffecups if the deeps flow and we are making $100m a year why only 0.25p for a dividend? For 1.8bn shares that's only £4.5m.

Seems a bit low to me. Even a penny is only £18m to fund which doesn't seem much of a stretch.

Well there are some unanswered questions given the capacity of car batteries. This is a discussion about phones and laptops:

Normally wireless charging (for phones) involves you putting the device on a mat in direct contact. To charge a car there will be a minimum clearance between the road and the pads under the vehicle and the field strength much higher. So not sure what happens to the neighbours cat when it decides to investigate the underside of the vehicle when parked?

A new wireless charging system for electric cars is being rolled out in Redbridge.

The borough is becoming the first in London to trial the scheme, which is intended to encourage wider use of electric vehicles to help reduce air pollution.

The government-backed scheme works by installing a pad on the underside of an electric car that can be aligned with pads buried beneath the road surface, allowing cable free charging as electricity passes to the car via induction.

Redbridge has partnered with parts of Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes to trial the scheme, offering some residents the induction pads for free.

Others will be able to access the use of car-club cars which will be fitted with induction pads.

Led by Char.gy, the company behind the pilot scheme, it could spell the end of trailing cables, making life easier for those with electric vehicles.

Cllr Jas Athwal, council leader, said: "We are facing a climate emergency and switching to electric vehicles is one way we can help reduce emissions and save the planet."

"Our children deserve to grow up with clean air and healthy lungs and schemes like this can make a huge difference to levels of air pollution."

It shouldn't be too hard for folks to join the dots here. Just consider which organisation stands to benefit the most from a sustained period of low pricing in 2019 despite demand and because they have supply to sell they can do so at whatever price suits their current agenda.

That valuation only goes to highlight how chronically undervalued BMN is if investors are taking FAR seriously at that price.

The rise to 50p and retrace to 20p following the absolute beating from short sellers is going to have ongoing consequences. It is going to be more difficult to gain momentum as now twice bitten holders will sell into significant rises due to a lack of confidence fearing that it will happen again. Hopefully this will mean a more measured rise but I have no doubt there will be a lot of investors now looking for any sniff of weakness in order to trade.

Fairwinds: "So the Vanchem deal closing, and JSE listing announcement, while significant, are already known, and I don’t see how they will give us a bump."

Vanchem announcement was on 1st May. Closing price 29.5p. Successfully completing this transaction immediately boosts production levels by a third with no effort. Price today 24p. So not priced in at all as the market seemed to immediately value Vanchem at 5p. Or if you prefer we can look at the company valuation the day before the announcement - 24.8p. So the price today is still lower than the price it was before it was announced we are going to immediately increase production via acquisition.

JSE listing - a lot depends on whether there is a share issue to support this. We are anecdotally led to believe there is significant pent up demand in SA to invest in BMN. Firstly if there is no share issue to support JSE then where are all these shares going to come from to satisfy this pent up demand? Even if there is an issue to support it, how oversubscribed will it be?

@mrcautious I am here for the same reason and looking forward to a £1 plus buyout albeit at a much smaller scale than some investors here. There are always traders with an agenda regardless of fundamentals, there is a lot to be positive about with recent RNS releases yet here we are sub 10p despite income being hugely increased as a result of the licence and positive news such as the previous obstruction being successfully milled away.

It does seem at the moment that the only news investors want is that a deep is flowing, so over to CASP.

Clearly as with any share I have been involved in there are those that seek to hold and those that seek to trade.

Resource estimate next?

Hopefully we will start seeing Q2 announcements soon for the different business areas. Not expecting Lemur to have a noticeable impact to share price but Vametco and Bushveld Energy may well do. Vametco because it is widely expected based on shipping data that production has already improved and Bushveld Energy because any sniff of some deals being done will be a game changer.
