Depends on how many of the "500 would-be workers" they took on though , OT.
I know of some that went to the open day but ended up going down to Devonport to work for Bab(male hens) as they took so long to get back to them. From what I've been told others that were already working down at DP were waiting for work/contracts to come in before taking a chance on switching. They liked the idea of working more local and saving the long drive from North Devon to Devonport every day, but didn't want give up their current jobs if there was not going to be enough work. So don't think they would have any issues getting willing staff if the price is right and there was no chance of being laid off if there was not a decent stream of work.
Rather than speculate, I will ask how many staff they currently have and let you know. ;)

Back on thread. Have been watching the Entsha's progress since it left Cameroon and it didn't seem to have moved for ages but see it's now arrived in Abidjan. If the timing is right and I'm there, it will pass directly below me on the way to Appledore. Should get a good view from where I am all day, up on the cliff tops. :)

It's a 10t Goliath crane with a 62m span and it used to be blue. Guessing the grey is the undercoat.

Oh, btw, there was a RNS for a £5.7m Influenza human challenge study contract announced on the 20th.
"The human challenge study is expected to commence in Q1 2022 and will be conducted at hVIVO's state-of-the-art facilities in London. The Company expects the revenue from the contract to be recognised across 2021 and 2022."
Just said it was with a "specialist biotechnology company developing therapeutics for respiratory viral infections."
