Wanted to take advantage while the sp was down but got fed up of waiting for said brokers. So ended up bying a batch first thing, straight into the ISA.
The ones I was going transfer, along with the other freebies (when released) can sit and wait in the normal acount until I'm good and ready. Take that Barclays. lol

Guess it's a case of, "they have built it" and now they just have to wait for the orders to come in.
Might have to bottom drawer these for a while yet, though. There might be some short lived trading opportunities as contracts appear. But I think it may be more of a case of onwards and sideways, imo.
It'll be interesting to see the markets take on these rersults. Personally, not much has changed.

To turn this delay into a positive, as the price keeps dropping, at least when I do get them It will be using less of my ISA allowance to transfer them from my normal account to join the ones already in the ISA. Both the ones bought and the "free" ones. All in a nice little bundle waiting in the bottom drawer.
So that's good. lol :)

The reason the revenue from the contract can't be recognised until 2023-24 is they just can't fit them in any sooner.
Coz they are full up, init. :)
Over time, I guess more expansion will sort that problem out.

Along the same lines as what The East said in the other thread. If they can't get a maintenance contract. how are they going to get an actual MoD build contract. Although the size of the dry dock is capable I don't believe the yard has the up-to-date infrastructure to be able to compete. But then, if all the talk about "leveling up" is to be trusted, you would think they would get at least something. Patrol boats?
