RE: At the Brink of Delivery, Not Disruption1 Nov 2025 14:10
Too petty, defensive and vainglorious to be taken seriously. I doubt anyone other than Elric is at all interested in his wounded complaints about his encounters with other PIs in this forum – and he conveniently forgets that many of the false steers on SBTX came from his faithful/obsequious reporting of Ashman's fake news. And the people he chooses to brand as trolls are genuine shareholders voicing genuine concerns – some no doubt having more skin in the SBTX game than he has. Call us activists or troublemakers if you like but I doubt that any of these mislabelled "trolls" are being deliberately offensive in the way that he often is in trying to belittle us as "fools", "muppets" and the like.
He seems to think there is some kind of vendetta against him and his paywall; but there obviously isn't as he never gets talked about except when he or one of his missionaries initiates a dialogue. And I'm sure nobody cares that much. The things that actually matter are all company-related and, shockingly, nothing to do with him.
He is perfectly entitled to campaign for keeping Ashman in office, of course – although suggesting that he and Hunt could cancel their re-election resolutions is a truly desperate, anti-democratic and despotic idea which would certainly do more harm than good to the company and its perceived prospects. Not that a few BB PIs could dethrone an under-performing CEO of course but perhaps Elric is concerned that one or both of our major HNW shareholders could upset the applecart. If they do, that is how public companies are supposed to work.
While it is good to know that Elric has joined me and others – including at least one HNWI – in topping up our SBTX shareholding recently, none of our faith is being demonstrated by our CEO. He would have found that fewer PIs would have become disenchanted with him if he had acquired some skin in the game.
But, like Elric, I am not unduly worried about the performance of any of our pillars or subsidiaries. The company is surviving and possibly prospering despite the CEO's numerous missteps. The trouble is that there seems to be a growing belief that the company would do better with a new CEO who is less hapless, less naive, less of a value destroyer and a better communicator. (I, for one, have not yet decided to vote against his reappointment, by the way as he still has time for an epiphany.)
Speaking of which, it looks like someone wasted time and money producing illegal Axisbiotix boxes. Is that what caused the Superdrug delay?
