Toyin, I'm not the person to ask but I suspect that the defcon isn't material since a) it was always conditional and b) Ashman has told us several times that the subsidiaries were performing in line with expectations (which meant that they were not in defcon territory).

Agree that the "at launch" promise was misleading but the original RNS said no numbers until the year end results. Perhaps Ashman might also argue that Croda has been continuing to launch Zenakine around the world up to and including this month, so the launch has been a very long window.

Whackery, he has his ear to the ground and may have concluded - correctly in my opinion - that Ashman isn't worth knowing. In the days when he used to communicate publicly, he misled us time after time. And people like TW and Elric who do know him are none the wiser for the privilege. The investors who took up the £4m offer in June were taken inside and that's as good a clue as we've got…especially as some of them allegedly scooped up Bill/Dustbin's shares on Friday. Meanwhile, DB has added and and the IIs seem to be holding firm. However, it's possible/probable that being an insider doesn't get you any closer to the Croda numbers.

In short, it's likely imho that Ashman has run a genuinely tight ship, as per the Croda agreement, annoying as that may be. But we were warned about it right at the start.

That was always going to be the case - every time Ashman said "performing in line with management expectations".

Just a bit of fact-checking… MD has been buying since April at 24p, since when SBTX have announced a significant deal with Superdrug. Shareholders may have missed that announcement because Ashman achieved the impossible by ensuring that the SP fell on the news. More recently, MD has been averaging down, taking advantage of a depressed share price which he felt was not warranted by the fundamentals of the business. He will imminently disclose a 12% holding – which he has assured me does not signal any predatory intent. In fact, he dreads a possible takeover bid for the company at anything like the current market cap: his target is over 100p.

MD is over 80 and continues to run his family's well-known thoroughbred racehorse breeding establishment. He is not a city slicker. He enjoys researching and investing in a small number of smallcap companies, where he has had notable success in the past. He knows DB and several other investors. He does not know SA. You might be surprised to learn who put him on to SBTX in the first place (not me).

He is a near neighbour of mine. We speak. He has been to my house. He is a thoroughly decent and respectable chap who just happens to have a bigger pot to play with than most of us. However, his objectives are very much aligned with ours.

And all 4m of the shares allegedly panic sold by Dustbin/Bill (allegedly) have been scooped up by the same investors who funded the 17p June raise (allegedly)…which might force a TR-1 or two.

The research has been widely covered in other media, without clarifying that melatonin merely reveals an underlying heart condition so I think that Croda/SBTX should issue a statement.

The Zero Hedge report looks misleading as previous research indicates that insomnia sufferers are 69% more likely to have a heart attack compared to those who didn’t have the sleep disorder.

What tosh. If the Lemmings cared a jot about the PI community, they would share any useful research here. Far from caring about the community, they care only about their few remaining paying customers and keeping the coin coming in.

Moreover, the salient facts yesterday were all revealed here – free of charge – before the Lemmings published so it's not even clear what those customers got for their money. The unavoidable truth is that without that hotline to Ashman, the Lemmings have nothing unique to offer on SBTX.

Hence, most of us seem to be managing just fine without a subscription but with good contacts and good, unpaid research of our own which we share, gratis, with the real community.

Of course, I see nothing of the Lemming's other stock coverage but assume it offers greater and speedier insight than his recent SBTX offerings, otherwise no coin would be changing hands. If truth be told, I suspect that the Lemming appropriates free information from this forum (and probably others) and rehashes it as his own to try to claim some underserved credit – and coin.

It's not a pretty sight; but I suppose desperate times call for desperate measures.

I'm hearing that a sizeable investor (not MD) has sold almost all of his 5m SBTX shares after reading a Zero Hedge report about the harmful effects on the heart of taking synthetic melatonin supplements. This appears to be a false alarm since, AFAIK, melatonin isn't an ingredient in Zenakine which claims only to boost the body's natural production of melatonin (…"aligns with the skin’s natural biological rhythms, boosting melatonin production to enhance positive emotions, and support skin regeneration").

Indeed, in many countries including the UK, melatonin cannot be bought over the counter – which would apply also to products containing melatonin, so Zenakine doesn't contain any.

In short, Zenakine boosts beneficial *natural* melatonin without introducing synthetic melatonin (which may or may not increase the risk of heart disease over time). I gather Ashman may comment shortly.

Looks like a buying opportunity.
