Yesterday the sell price ticked down to 2 p. The spread was 2/4! Today a different story. I can only conclude the MM's yesterday were wanting people to sell for virtually nothing.

Should open at 45 sell and 47 buy, and rise from there.

These are up 15% on the ASX overnight. Looks like they will open higher here too.

After the selling they seem to be bouncing back.

These must be worth 10 p per share on revaluation, if both these sources are successfully tapped.

Probably not, because of the Bank Holiday. That invariably causes a few jitters as the markets go out of sync. However, it looks like the market is aiming that these finish at 60 p today. Not bad seeing that they were 45 p a few days ago.

Should advance in next month to 1.5, if not 2p. Simply because the UK banks have picked up. These will just mimic, irrespective of their vulnerability to bad debt.

I did wonder about recommending to Uniq that their sandwich line could be renamed 'IN BREAD'. What do you think?

They will move up to 60 p in the short term, I think. The revival of the banks is great reassurance for the insurance sector.

Thanks for the RNS. Significant is the production ramp up at Smokey Hills, particularly the anticipated ramp up to 48,000 T per month. That should bring in good income. Their projected margins per tonne of stockpiled ore are around $100 - i.e. nearly 5 million dollars per month. The underground margins will be less, with the lower predicted grade, but even if they make margins of $50 per tonne processed that means they should be realising profits in excess of £20 million in the first year of production - perhaps a little less after that (and with unknown PGE price trends).

Agreed. I wondered the same. They have already had one 'not on your nelly' vote it seems, and I think the offer will be rejected. More buys again today.

The ex-div fall seems to be about over now. I think a rise back to around 50 p is probable.

Just seen so many people in the world struggling to make furniture out of wood that is too hard for the purpose. This restricts both style and quality. That is why the Africans and South Americans can't make at low cost, and why, for centuries, they have been held back in terms of their own usage. We take these things for granted, but I have commissioned furniture made out of such wood, and it blunts tools - even machine tools, in hours! The stylisation of softwoods is a much easier and cheaper option. Kurawood should and could reset their business plans and they will be a success.
