Based on drilling results these should reach 150 easily, poss 200. This is a big deposit, and Rossing South grades at 400ppm plus U3O8 are good. It may not sound much, at 0.04%, but extraction depends on how the U3O8 is held as discrete minerals. Polo Resources also owns c. 10% of Extract, although I have only found a figure of 5.7%. I think both Kalahari and Polo will rise from these levels for some time.

Filing for administration does not mean the company is bust. However, it is true that most companies that go into administration do not pay their shareholders back - they are the last in the queue. The company has plummeted today, but there will still be people buying in the hope that there is some payback to shareholders. The reason being that if the administrators tie up all the loose ends - such as monies due, there MIGHT be a payback and at a capitalisation of so little it might be at a significant premium. There will therefore be some big buyers today at the low prices, unless the shares are suspended.

Agreed. If the directors wish the company that is. It all depends on their knowledge of the business and its prospects. Only they know if the company has turned a corner, or if they are just pocketing cash for short-term support. However, worth a small bet at this price I believe.

I am always interested when a company that is solvent is 'downrated' like this, as most of them rebound back up, so they make a mathematical good bet.

Agreed that there is panic selling, and the MM's are using it as an excuse to drop the price more than it should. The uncertainty was already written into the share price prior to today. I am just in for 100,000 shares.

Dispute obviously is on the back of the revision of the deposit size. This deposit is a potential megabucks situation it seems, if the U3O8 price recovers as it is expected to do, so the ownership matters a lot. 'The plot thickens at Extract Resources (ASX & TSX: EXT). Yesterday Extract Resources requested a suspension in trading on the ASX, citing a dispute with its largest shareholder, Kalahari Minerals (AIM: KAH). Kalahari Minerals holds approximately 39.6% of Extract Resources'.

This looks like an 'early news' situation. Extract Resources(TSX, ASX) has not yet responded significantly to this news, so I presume they will both open up when the respective markets open, resulting in another, more significant move up by KAH.

More good news - this should underpin PLAA at around this price, and they can move into production ramp-up with a safe cash position.

I guess the MM's will tick it up to 60 p or slightly higher.

Recovery time. Big shares seldom fall by this much in a day, without them perking up again quite quickly. As long as the banks steady that is!

ALBA is worth watching. They have been in the doldrums for ages - with their Ni projects such as Arthrath a bit of a waste of time - too small and expensive to mine, etc. etc.. However, they have U interests in Mauritania which is really I feel the new focus for the company. Mauritania is under-explored and has good U potential, and juniors such as ALBA are more likely to successfully exploit because they can go in light and wheel and deal with the Mauritanian guys who hold many of the cards.

Under your radar? These are a good long-termer! Fifty percent up since early April, and plenty of upside to come for a company only valued at 6 million.

These have more than doubled since first tipped around a month ago. Yet still buys coming in and no sells today. More mileage yet then!

Friday's bulletin is good news. A few weeks ago there was talk about a bidding bout between two companies at around 60 p per share, prior to this announcement. Now there has been an upgrade, and an 'revaluation' at 80 p per share, they will climb gradually towards that point I feel. However, with 748 mT proven coal (there must be more) the company is only valued at 13 p per tonne. The Reuters bulletin points out that most of CDN's peers are valued at many times this. If another bid comes it may well be at the 80 p to £1 level.

Can't they change their name a bit so their EPIC code comes out as 'OINK'
