You've disrupted the board so many times before when the 'data' changes. Anything positive posted you shout down. You trading of this has been so blatent and you wonder why people get tired of it. Of course people are going to be bullish, they have invested their hard earned. If Phulbari had been given the green light we wouldn't be sat at 5p, so of course we are going to speculate about what's potentially going on - you seem to have a problem with all of that.

PowerChina are the contractors for both, no official link but if i were the contractors i would be interested in using some of the $15b overburden from Phulbari to develop the north. Anyone thinking dredging the river will provide enough usable material to create towns and infra are wrong.

Both are huge projects and bigger than anything Bangla has seen before.

I think Pitstok's arguement is valid. We have no idea what costs involved, the BNP may have already said 'if we are elected then you need to pay to get your studies spot on'...thats an expense that our usual burn wouldn't cover so it makes sense to raise - Tang may not have had much time to make a decsion and with certain risks now out of the way took an opportunity. We may not like it but might have been the best decision to allow us a fighting chance of progressing.

I could be wrong, the way my lif has gone in the last 12 months is telling me that Tang will probably screw us all sideways and personally ring me to tell me i'm a complete loser...wouldn't surprise me!

Remember YNIR still holds the share but thinks BNP have no intention of OPM Phulbari. That makes complete sense.

Open Pit @ Bara makes no sense, its not really possible...but i think you know that. As soon as you feel we have hit the bottom you will be back in and the very points you are using to deramp will be used to ramp.

If the BNP had no intention of touching Phulbari they would likely state that - Hasina did. The BNP approved the mine 20yrs ago and the situation in Bangla was less dire than it is now.

Pretty sure the solar park is part of the Phulbari development.

Careful of YKIR’s agenda…look back through his posts, super bullish as recently as 21st Feb and the trade deal news he is using today was an agreement signed on the 9th prior to the election. The BNP wouldn’t be off to China if there hands were tied. They need to develop teesta as promised and in order to that they need Phulbari

I’m not sure about that, if The BNP don’t know the value of Phulbari then it should be GCM’s lobbyists and Tang doing this…I can only think that the reason for the news black out is that conversations are happening. If they aren’t then the GoB have no chance and the country will soon be bankrupt. I’ve bet on the right decision being made but look at our Government and countless others. No guarantee in these times that it will happen.

If Polo are reinstated will they also relist? How many of the current shareholders in GCM also hold/held polo shares? Sure if they were to relist it would be a clear sign that some kind of deal

It would make him seriously wealthy...a low buyout would screw us and on the promise of what?...some cushty position on the Board of whoever moves it forward?

It makes less sense than retaining a stake of whatever GCM's is worth on approval and future stake surely?
