We are due some news in the next couple of weeks so it will be really interesting if thats the start of the re-rate up to Election. Energy Policy announced with clean mention on own coal, Election Date announced - that's what we need in order to give the Market some impetus and drive positive sentiment. I still worry what Yunus will spout at the Conference but maybe its more about what he doesn't say that shows a clearer sign of shifting policy and realisation.

I would think any delay now to the date of first week in Feb would see people take to the streets again. It's not as if he has made any significant progress on anything other than increasing his own personal fortunes and those closely around him. The country is in a dires situation and the people want a chance at democracy. The Army will also be watching closely.

This also frustrates me. Tarique - get back home and lead FFS. It sets a pretty average example staying in London when the BNP have a real chance, no reason to delay any further, get on a plane and let your presence put pressure on Yunus.

Agreed, none of us invested in this but Tom spun is a good one and I, like others, fell for the potential. I had written this off but voting yes gives me a chance as something back…grow up. Accept it for what it is or shut up and move on.

How does everyone feel about this years COP30 in Brazil...do we think Yunus will be off their making promises he shouldn't. It's a last chance to get the begging bowl out i guess but it worries me seeing how close feel now...I wonder how much bearing it will have on the Energy Policy? Will they be pragmatic, forward thinking and suggest Clean Coal to ultimate reduce dependance on dirty imports or will it be a pointless rework focused on the unachievable? So many countries are ditching the green agenda now simply because its costs too much money...the remaining countries are also unwilling to Bankroll initiatives that deliver very little in the way of sustainable futures.

I for one will be dissapointed if they don't mention own coal and specifics? They have already said the Phulbari SoD needed some 'tweeking' but was essentially good. THey can't be vague in an updated Power and Energy Policy and they will have almost certainly consulted the bigger parties prior to writing it. The document will be a completely pointless exercise otherwise...not that Bangla aren't good at that!
