I'm going to maintain my position of choosing to not debate P#1 or the Bahamas licence as it triggers as emotional response from you.

I understand how you feel about it & the potential you see in it. I respect your opinion & argument because its backed up by reasoning. I don't agree with it but that doesn't mean I think the argument is silly neither do I think you are for making that argument. I wish you wouldn't see or my posts as uneducated because I simply disagree with any point you make.

I challenge anyone to quote something I have written which is untrue, uninformed or misleading.
I am open to my interpretations & opinions being challenged & do not take any issue with anyone doing so. Its just a bulletin board. I am going to continue to debate my points without getting personal.

Tiburn I'm not into the whole confrontational thing. I don't like to carry disagreements over into following conversations or hold grugdes or try to one up anyone because of a previous heated discussion.
I like to think I have a sense of humour and can banter without getting personal.
It does feel like you have a score to settle with me though & because we have differing opinions that means you see me as an enemy.
I don't see you like that. I understand you like to win arguments and prove people wrong but don't hold that against you.

Ross I accept you are a skeptic and are waiting for actual flow rates.
T&T is already producing oil along the southern coast line. I have no reason to question whether the larger oil discovery in the SWP find will not flow at similar if not higher rates than existing Wells albeit a different location.

Ross really? Even though I agree that you are technically correct with the flow rates of the S1 well, albeit the couple of zones they did get to flow test. Saffron has been classed as a discovery with a possible 200m barrels recoverable.
It is of course completey possible that BPC may not get the S2 to flow at expected rates but the discovery has been made.
S2 results will determine how many Wells will be drilled.

Kevin, the Saffron discovery has already been proven. We are in field development stage not the exploration stage.

We both know where this debate will end so rather than re-visit that destination, which I am sure isn't fun for anyone to read. This is genuine work Tiburn. You have managed to derisk & prove the Bahamas basin model, raised the CoS to 65% of discovering OIP & in commercial quantities.
No Oil Major has been able to do this to date, not even BPC has released this as official news. Its outstanding work and I think BPC would be lucky to have you as an employee.
I am looking forward to a broker note upgrade, an increase in market sentiment & significant increase in company valuation based on your findings.

I think whats closer to reality is that Scirocco is stuck with Ruvuma and so has no choice. The BOD have made it clear that they will not take a loss on it, so that means more capex on the project and possibly being locked in until seeing this project through to maturity.

It would be nice to end the quarter with a cash generative deal being completed rather than more talk of investment opportunities.
For a company that isn't generating any money, they sure do like spending it.

I don't think debating the finance options would be constructive at all. What's done is done. The only thing which will offer better terms going forward is increased production.
Hopefully any refinancing will come after a successful S2 drill in which daily production increases & proven reserves will lift the company valuation and so offer better refinancing terms.

I neither believe debating he BOD salaries will help. As yet none have offered to take a reduced salary. Their options still total their respective salaries.
Although I do believe the BOD renumeration will be destructive to any deal in the works be it finance or JV.

I am unaware of any public company that pays 50% of its cash generation out to BOD annual salaries whilst also making a year end loss.

Yikes this could be construed as contributing to the recent 32% gain then subsequent 15% fall in the following sessions as being down to your 8% day trading in attempts to recoup losses....
