it's hard to take any of this too seriously really. One new strain of Coronavirus, and I am down over £10,000 (since 8am) on Lloyds alone! You cannot ever know with any share. A very expensive day for Sheltie. . . :)

My average is a tad more than yours, so averaging down by an additional 50% in the c £4.50 range would make a huge difference. But it's a big risk, as DT 'could' end up back in the £3's. It's not out of the question. A fall from £10, this fast, is not a tree shake! There is something else, but I don't know what. Probably a geady mixture from PH to ML. We will see, but I am a nervous average downer, being honest.

very fair points Claire and as you say, it's the reputational damage that hurts. And Seaking1 - I work in the City and the numbers not wearing masks, is getting worse by the weak. Total Selfish ******s the lot of them.

that said, today is a massive and very silly over-reaction by the Markets - as per usual. They take fright of anything. Pathetic....

if I was to pull the trigger now my average would come down to £5.45p. But I'm going to wait, for what I reckon will be a cheaper averaging-down opportunity next week. About to turn negative

the Market is in total freefall panic mode at -210 points - and yet Darktrace is up. This share is plain weird! Just has nothing to do whatsoever, with whatever the FTSE100 decides it wants to do on any given day! Track it - it does not! So weird :)

I think you made some quip about "who is going to win the 3.30"? Some other joker said it will be £6 by tomorrow or Monday and said he "promised" it! I have five figures invested here, but I am not emotionally attached. I am here to make money and quite frankly couldn't give a toss about DT or anyone working for it. If I misinterpreted your response earlier today, then I apologise sincerely. I also re-state that there is money to be made for the likes of you and me, by averaging down - just not at £4.79p. ATB

If indeed the 'staff' were aware of this, then it would be a very poor (and seriously worrying) reflection on the Board. That, combined with it being highly price sensitive, leads me to believe that it's nonsense. The FCA would be all over an Institution for that. I would ignore it personally. There is more chance of Charles saying he disagrees with Berenberg's Target Price!!

Ndn71 your blinkered and closed minded approach will cost you. Don't shoot the messengers here, as there are real opportunities for topping up.

And also why it won't be back at £6 anytime soon. Too much downloaded at play still. BUT, some great buying-in or topping up opportunities will be presented here soon. I intend to continue waiting for mine, as it continues to drop pennies each day. £4.50 is now only 29p away. Unthinkable four weeks ago, when we were exactly £8. Wow.
