...as I and a few others unfortunately predicted. It's still sad to see a company getting such a beating like this. 'Promotion' to the FTSE100 was a totally unfortunate thing to happen for DT. It fell victim to the amateur PI's ramping it up to such a price, that it was duly promoted - like it or not!! 2022 however, is another year and DT's fortunes WILL improve. Today's fall (as written yesterday in response to Charlesrixon), was again, entirely predictable. The Fund Managers are your friends and worst enemies, in equal measure - a bit like the Press. ATB

Charles, I did reply (see below). Am continuing to wait. It may be the correct call. It may not be. But either way, if I buy at more than I'd ideally like (ideally, -30p from here), then my overall average will still be in the low £5's, which could be worse. As you would say, let's see. . . .

Charles, to answer your question from earlier. Well, I still haven't spent my allocated additional £5,300 (yes, small fry I know, but £15k is all I'm prepared to risk on this), which suggests that I reckon it will follow the FTSE down tomorrow (I think it unlikely that we will see a third consecutive day of strong rises). May be wrong of course, but I can't really lose by waiting. Just no need to rush, as today's rise is very welcome, but doesn't really tell us anything particularly tangible. . . My guesses only!

Wrong. I hold 1,750 shares, as ever, but I am looking to average down hard. I am however, looking for as low a price as possible, hence why I have not been seduced yet, unlike your good self. Just filter me, because for every sugar-coated holder here, there will be a cynic, like me. It's called a matched trade! You are too emotionally involved here. It's a bit of fun, relax. You CANNOT have any influence through a tin-pot board like this, on a multi-billion pound FTSE company's share price! NONE! So relax.

In terms of DT specifically, it seems to me, that 'The City' has clearly changed its attitude with regard to its very (only good news factored in) lofty valuation; for a company with such (relatively speaking) small amounts of annual revenue. You could argue therefore that even at £3.70p they will still think it too expensive? Grim I know, but hey, it's really quite possible now. Noticeable too, how few have been posting here, saying that they have bought more shares, unlike the daily "I've just topped up at £6.98p, £5.97p etc." just three weeks ago. Wow. To think that this hit £9.50p only in October. They'll make a Study Paper out of this, for future MBA students.

Ndn71 - the 'large sophisticated shareholder' has paid way more than they needed to here (like £7.50p!). The small 'unsophisticated' shareholder however, sold at between £9 and £10 and has not yet bought back! The 'large' Institutions here with DT have certainly not showered themselves in 'sophisticated' glory! Seen it SO many times. Fund Managers often get it wrong. The sub £4 trap door looms large, with just 20p left to go. Ouch.

for me at least, this was designed as a bit of a 'smoke screen' to detract from the dire share price retrace. Only problem is that the pin was pulled, the (smoke) canister was thrown, but the wind was blowing in the wrong direction. It's not going to make any difference here. The next Financial Update certainly will though. Gulp - as it had better be flipping good!!

Jump to £7.50p! Charles, you are deluded. This will be sub £4 at some stage this week. This share Buy-Back won't be our Knight in Shining Armour. . . But better than nothing, yes, as a Dividend is a long, long, way off here. I suspect that it will be hard-going for DT from here, now the party has finished. It has everything to prove, which it CAN do. BUT, it's Top and Bottom lines, are going to need to expand fast!!

I'm just glad I changed my target price to average down here. Yesterday, somebody said that I would regret altering my target at £4.56p. In the blink of an eye it's 30p cheaper already. It's like a Dark hole that money gets put into, only to vanish from site in hours.

His buying has been beyond amateurish. Horrible buys. He has been paying WAY over the odds each time; so best to ignore him. You'll get these for less than £4 next week. Only 27p and we will be there. .

possibly Bacchusll, but for me that's too ambitious. From here to £6.50 in six weeks (max) is highly unlikely. Doesn't mean it won't happen by the Spring, so quite frankly, who cares. It's going to be a months long recovery, not a few weeks. AND that's assuming you are thinking it is going to £6.50p from today's £4.38p price too. With so much global uncertainty, it is likely that the Market will throw more down days at us, than up; in what remains of 2021 me thinks. Hence why a c.45% increase from here, may be more wishful thinking, than reality. . .
