Got past, once and for all, the mighty beast that was £3.10??!!

I was in the Holland Cooper store just last week with my wife (in Bicester Village). Not cheap, but gorgeous quality. It's super nice luxury stuff. Good Luck tomorrow. I have a rule that I only sell in the first 30 minutes and never buy; the amount of times I have over-paid between 8am and 8.30am pains me. Hopefully, I will have the discipline to stick to that tomorrow, as things will get a bit fruity for sure (+ and -) tomorrow. Have a good evening and lay off the coffee now!

Toffers - much as it pains me to admit it, I do know from personal experience, that these folk at places like Marshall Wace, Citadel, Lone Pine, or in this case Gsa Capital, are pretty smart! Ouch that hurt! But seriously, they are very smart, highly numerate and analytical guys, with a real flair (via some pretty serious modelling!) for shorting, hedging, arbitrage, derivatives, options etc. They do get it right a heck of a lot more than they get it wrong - and earn millions of pounds each and every year from it all. Me? Bitter? 100% yes!

Agreed Rowaboat - For general info. Google shows prices as they are happening (e.g buys and sells). So, you always need to keep in mind that it's not the actual exact price (allow for the spread); just the last buy or sell. It's very helpful during the trading day though. For the final close price, it's best just to click on the above 'Share Trades' icon for the UT (it appears at c.4.50pm). Then you know 100% exactly what the final close price is . . .

This takes place from Wednesday morning of this week:

On the morning that Seagull gave full disclosure (this happened later in the day though) I had been spending some time cross-referencing the financial fundamentals. I looked at the last two years and analysed the Balance Sheet - and something just did not add up. I simply could not fathom how the share price could be 16p when it was so much more two years ago and things were not drastically different. So, I concluded that 'sentiment' and 'debt' were both being massively over-played; resulting in a totally 'over-sold' scenario. The result? I bought 150,000 shares at 19p. early on Wednesday morning. Then the RNS landed at mid-day regarding Seagull. 💥 I tried a dummy sell and was being offered MORE to sell 150,000 shares than 30,000. Hmmmm 🤔 I thought. Something is definitely going on here as that never happens. Then, as we all know, it all kicked off! I am up a significant amount now, but feel that an offer would now need to be in the region of 80p (minimum) to £1.20. That's fair. More would require two or three bidders which 'could' happen. SDRY then needs to close at least 50% of its stores. Re-brand. Re-fit their dark and dismal remaining stores (and yes, including the hugely expensive London flagship store). Lose the ego - and it can easily erase its debts and move back into profitability. I bet you that's what JD has in mind too. This needs a top to toe overhaul; not minor tinkering, if it is to survive, as a going concern. We shall see, but hold tight here folks, as there is more to come. ATB 😃

Olmedo, if I were you I'd wait until the results. If the results prove to be walking 'Tufan's Talk' then buy, as they will move up to £3.50+ pretty quickly I reckon. Plus you will then know for sure what you are buying back into. At present, we are all pretty much guessing/hoping/praying/ crossing our fingers etc.! On the flip side, if they don't match up to his talk, then you will only need to pay £2.50 (or less), for them!! Good Luck with your choice...ATB
