It's not just Crude - check out Viper regaling his friends over at HUR about his summer hols in Gran Canaria - "We visit GC often and stay in the Riu Palace or the Lopazen Baobab in the Melonares area if we can. I agree that JP hasn't done anything wrong by establishing Sound 4 but it's certainly interesting. Seems to have overshadowed what should have been a good day at Echo with a decent RNS and is it a coincidence that CORO is down as well? Conversely a steady day here as the end game feels closer? What I'm saying is while he's done nothing wrong it appears to have had implications to investors who have put in hard earned into the projects he is associated with. I did speculate yesterday evening that this might cause disappointment at ECHO and CORO as it would appear he is most likely to be Executive at Sound 4 after Sound 1. I don't believe that operationally it means anything to the 'other places' but might cause some to question his personal manoeuvrings which do seem to have consequences for PI's.

Ha! quite goodness knows how long it would have taken had the site not been flat in the first place! Only joking (ish) before I get a put-down from someone qualified. I suppose Fell, the position of the webcam is dictated by the nearest Portakabin or similar to stick it on and the focal length might be jammed on such a wide angle, as for contradictory shadows, flags flying the wrong way, unusual crinkly snakes and strange lights in the sky I can't begin to guess! Really wish I wasn't working at home today - this could get highly unproductive......

Even by SOU investor standards I don't think the webcam has ever been more keenly scrutinised, even if we get 9th Sep today that is still only Sunday's offering. Can anyone remember the delay at previous drills? I know that updating a webcam is hardly a priority for the folk on site but I also don't believe there isn't a sat phone out there, it's very easy to ping a bit of low quality footage back to base in this day and age. I suppose it has to be scrutinised for price sensitive information to be fair and I'm also hesitant to be critical of an insight for investors that is after all an innovation but I don't recall the delay being so consistently set at 3 days on previous op's.

Fair enough DS it's incredibly unlikely as you say but the tantalising prospect of not having to go through it all again was too much for me not to believe for a moment.

Agreed Joe as they've evolved the JP connection should be seen as less critical, bit concerned about the offshore at Coro though, but got more than enough to worry about here for now!

Just realised they did have to rush to get C4 Ltd. Obviously they had to avoid C5 due to it's association with Sir Clive's ill-fated electric vehicle, sorry not one for the youngsters that!

I know Woodrow, must admit I had the chance of not drilling down to virtually nil but when you consider the downside in the case of failure, could there be a case for the company to put an offer to shareholders at the eleventh hour? Realise this sounds far fetched but JP did say ages ago that he could sell the company at the time for a very 'interesting' or was it 'exciting' price? Could the seismic have prompted someone to make a move that could be worthy of putting before shareholders? That's it if those rollers go over the same patch of ground again tomorrow I'm going all guns blazing on a conspiracy theory rampathon.

Wonder if this could be a disappointment to investors at Echo and Coro who might have been expecting more involvement from JP with life after Sound. Personally I'm looking to add to my allocation at Coro and it won't change my mindset but I'd be interested to know what others think. Certainly all eyes will be on the market tomorrow as this does suggest things could be about to move fast, or maybe JP and Marco really were just anxious not to miss out on the name! Really???

Perhaps they've been saving coppers in one of those oversized whisky bottles to buy Ascent Resources?

Blimey Crude just when I thought the stakes couldn't get higher it seems Anglo-French relations are also on the line (even without mentioning scallops)!! Thanks for the promise of feedback SoundEnergy by the way. The odds of finding a winner in AIM are horrendously stacked against the PI but if Sound does turn out to be 'the one' then we'll have earned it alright and if there is a happy clappy event when the boat comes in I promise to turn out if only to be tar and feathered!

Crude I'm a self confessed long term re-moaner here but I would love to get out there and not just witness the reality of the operation but also meet some fellow investors. Given whats hanging on this for me it's crazy I can't go but young children (with SOU as part of their junior ISA's naturally) and a wife who works we barely managed a summer holiday together let alone me going on a junket to Morocco. Anyway I look forward to the feedback, have fun everyone.

I admit my sentiment has been up and down with the SP recently but I'm getting very concerned now. Over the years with SOU it seems that the market has a habit of anticipating bad news. The truth is that any Director reducing is a red flag despite the reasoning and the admirable way JP fronted up the shareholders on the issue. Add to that our own Director of Exploration unwilling to risk his hard earned, Marco chucking Sound stock around his mates like confetti and the historical failure to attract any new significant institutional money and it does feel like the lonely PI versus all the risk. There I've said it, now where's the Anderson shelter?

Maybe I've finally flipped, I assumed the lorries must be delivering scalpings or other aggregates but scrutinising the webcams it really does look like sand going round and round. Not to mention the scale of the thing, are they building 'New Tendrara' in anticipation of the requirement for a brand spankers garden city to service the new O&G horizon in E Morocco? It's almost as if being a SOU investor could drive you crazy............
