Well I'm not, the market seems to be relentlessly de-risking in concord with JP's strategy rather than building positions before the drill. Genuinely hope not but I worry we could break the years low at this rate before the drill. Sorry but my morale is at a year's low for sure and something tells me TE-9 is going to be an uncertain result, the only logic for that is that the market has been ahead of the game before with SOU.

Agree it is a little far-fetched but I'm not suggesting he's actually sitting on, recent communications seem to be managing expectations way into Q4.

Total guesswork as ever but could JP be holding back the GSA to leave himself some ammo should TE-9 fail. It would be the prudent time to draw attention back to what we have in the bag particularly as it is clearly not priced in. For some reason it sounds like it is increasingly less imminent (starting to sound like a politician!).

HT I think it's a fair point of discussion, was it Bobsnest who hosts financial events who asked him directly at a presentation about the size of his holding and I believe he replied 'not enough' or words to those affect. To be fair the question caught him unawares and was probably a little mischievous as it would have to have been disclosed anyway or maybe it was before he was made a Director? Anyway it has been a reasonable talking point ever since BM came onboard but I agree it's now a laboured point so that's my last on the subject. Ps. If I have recalled the above wrongly do shout out (particularly Bobsnest).

Yes the Exploration Director investing would have been a positive but he could have any number of personal reasons for not, to speculate is probably a little instrusive but I just hope it's not because he doesn't fancy the chances of his investment going up, after all he's been right not to buy stock so far! Still it's probably time to accept that it's not for him and to let it go.

Perhaps the worry should be that he's smarter than all of us at wealth creation! Even at 50% it's effectively red or black on the SP going up after TE-9 and maybe he doesn't fancy the odds? I know we should be underpinned higher than this on the existing discovery but it just isn't getting factored in and I'm starting to wonder if the GSA will move it either with the enormity of TE-9 overshadowing everything. Could be JP has always known this and doesn't want the GSA milestone swamped by the implications of TE-9 success or failure. Who knows but going back to Brian it's obvious he's happy with his options and just not interested in risking his own hard-earned in Sound which is absolutely fine with me, in any case anything other than taking a large stake now could just look like tokenism.

Actually I ought to add a caveat to that as 'commencement of civil works' at TE-9 was prior to the construction of the road so that accounted for an extra couple of weeks I think. Maybe the additional road building and weather combined might be the explanation?

I completely agree on the safety aspect etc of course, but we have already taken just over twice as long from commencement of civil works to that at TE-8, at this rate it's going to be a lot more. Jp did mention the bad weather and we all saw that on the webcam. Could be something as banal as a damaged or missing part causing a hold up as the actual assembly of the rig does seem to be taking an eternity. Not something I know anything about practically just going off the progress RNS's and Tweets from past op's.

Oh well at least that's new - first time I've been surprised to be disappointed.

Hope so Tableleg I know it means little to the endgame but would be good for morale in the meantime to see the SP improve. By the way - saw that impressive seismic video for the first time today - wow that's a confident ending!!

I think it's fairly clear that we're caught in this range because until the GSA we're not going to be valued fairly on our current finds. Put that to one side then and ask what will attract new money in the build up to TE-9? I think possibly nothing and before everyone hates me here's why. If TE-9 fails the immediate downside will punishing - a real blow to the best part of a year's seismic, a lowering of confidence in the remainder of the three drill campaign and a frightfull SP short term. So no reason for punters to enter now when in the event of TE-9 success the upside is so monumental that anyone watching carefully on the sidelines can hardly fail to win when the mood music changes. Apprehensive watchers might miss out in the event of a sudden suspension but won't lose if things go wrong. Just my thoughts on why we're here SP'wise - I'm happy and confident that this drilling couldn't be more derisked but I think the psychology of the stock market explains the SP deadlock.

Not sure the trading looks indicative of a leak but let's hope that at last Bradis' old favourite comment is justified. Weds authorities award permit, Thurs permit goes registered post, Fri received and Mon RNS. Maybe a bit of money has assumed this course of events, I'm assuming Slovenian legal documents would go this way, it's so long since we were awarded anything significant I can't remember if it's been discussed before!

I wasn't in FRR when they needed the re-financing but I have always assumed that the Yorkville deal was the only one on the table which is why they took it. That's why I have always thought it a bit rich of Zaza to say he despises them so much (as I've heard it reported it) as their cash has kept him in wages since. However, I would never have believed that a finance company would lend money only to actively attempt to slowly sink another enterprise. Well we now know that even Hight St names have done similar (eg. RBS small business lending scandal) so I guess it's hardly surprising that these grubby activities are getting exposed. Just hope growing production and our new big buddies mean we can sever links with them once and for all.

Hi Bricks don't disagree except that a sell on good news isn't unusual particularly after opening up. I thought that some of the persistent selling in the last week would have mitigated this effect but seems not. Maybe a rally this afternoon?

Something has prompted Shareprophets to take a huge legal risk with this article. Suggests to me that they know something is in the pipeline and this is one last heave to get out of a position before it's too late. We know their dear leader has absolutely no integrity whatsoever so I know who I believe. Looks like the lawyers are going to be busy!
