It's hardly been discussed DK.... I was expecting initial results 'around end March' but there seems to have been a c*#k up on the equipment front, now it's all gone vague but it's for our own good apparently.

I can't see it being Schlumberger, I know they have received a large percentage of the licence but in the event of failure that is a large percentage of not much so their contribution has to be seen partially as risk and would be factored into a LE involving them. It might appear to be a neat solution but as JP hinted to Crude is unlikely and I think fraught with complexity. In more depressing news who would have thought at the end of December when things suddenly looked good at TE-10 we would be approaching Easter without the faintest idea if it is a commercial find or not. I had a top up in the 10's and I'm just not going to see that wither away to nothing like every other time, I'm really on the brink of losing faith, whether it's just that tranche to go or the whole flamin lot I really don't know.

I'm not so sure Blade, the very guarded response to a question I put about the likely communication of results suggests that they will be guided by the Nomad. From that we can infer if pre-stimulation results are considered price sensitive either way they would have to update the market - makes it pretty crunchy if an RNS does land.

Let's hope there aren't another 19 weeks before we get positive news then! :)

To be fair Petrol & ddboy the comment about 'slowing things down' came from the horse's mouth so not all strange theories are groundless. I wonder if the discovery at TE-10 has made the completion of seismic processing even more critical to LE value. Wasn't there a comment from the last FSC that full processing was likely to be end of Q2 this year? As for the equipment, it's interesting to hear your differing experiences of the efficiency of procurement. I just find it inconceivable that you would RNS timelines without any preliminary work into the requirements, availability and deliverability.

Seaton I thought not hence the :) Despite the good points made by Davey I still don't buy the reasoning behind the delay. When they issued the RNS's following the discovery they must have made some preliminary steps towards assessing what would be needed, where the equipment was and when it could be shipped, at least I would have hoped so. Anyway they came up with Febuary and here we are in April. Hardly surprising the market is making the usual AIM assumption that delays are never good. Anyway good luck all investors and honest posters, think the faith is going to be severely tested - again!!

Ha ha was that a not very subtle put down Seaton?? :) Fair enough I only know what I have gleaned on here and scrutinising SOU communications and yes you've guessed I have no technical experience (though I'm very proud of my homemade chicken coup, and also a cold frame that I knocked up last week - an absolute triumph!).

If it's true as has been reported on here that the perforation guns are the same as used on TE-7 (so likely to be required plus air freightable) and that the coiled tubing isn't an unusual item of equipment I really don't understand how we've got from the 7th Jan RNS to this point over three months later. Years ago we demonstrated the ability as a novice explorer in Morocco to make a discovery and test it without such delays, have we become less competent logistically? I would hope not so what's going on? I know about the 'slowing things down' comment, perhaps to prove up seismic prospects, but as cash burns are we drifting into a position where TE-10 absolutely cannot fail? The only comfort I'm feeling is that they must be super confident that TE-10 will be commercial. Let us pray.

Personally I wouldn't read too much into it, I just think these boards are an absolute gift to oddballs who love winding people up.
