DJReds yes I think that is a helpful way of dissecting my post. Definitely the JP hype will be looked back on as disastrous if he doesn't deliver in the £'s but agreed 84p will see the vast majority in profit. JP has defended the earlier jovial style of communications as simply 'playful' but I'll wager now he never goes down that route again. I was never a great fan of the flippant Tweets, remember #drumrollplease and #partyinthepaleozoic and as I check back on Twitter I see these have been deleted. Everything from 21st Jan 2017 to 27 May 2017 has gone, basically covering the 'fluffing' of TE-8 so that tells a story.

Jack is that 10p before Morocco or 10p from the recent low - either way you've done well, congratulations. I had a load of the fund raise before Morocco (was it 5p?) and seem to remember my average was around 13p before the big rise, so I'm not complaining about that. My point is the expectations and guidance from the company about what Tendrara would deliver (won't list the now infamous quotes), the flagging of the LE from so far out which I think was in the knowledge it would encourage investors to take the ISA route which tends to make stock less liquid. Perhaps 'disaster' at 84p was the wrong word when it would get most out here with a profit but it's not what I've been in this turbulent ride and would not reflect true reward for the risk I've lived with over the years.

I think 84p would be an absolute disaster, obviously not for new investors but anyone with money tied up for years (didn't we raise funds around that level also?), don't forget to add in the opportunity cost, inflation etc. Agreed we can only blame ourselves for not exiting at £1 but after all the promises anything under £1-50 would represent abject failure from our well-renumerated team. Looking at the wages they will depart this company significantly rewarded as the kitty runs down. I pray the interests of shareholders and Directors aren't diverging before our eyes. Sorry bit sick of this, be gentle with me :)

@Wh0s that's the impression I have also formed from my enquiries, but I do think it is inescapable that there could be a scenario where they have to, for good or bad reasons.

Shpunken apologies but this is a bit of a bugbear of mine and I'm repeating myself - however, how do you know they won't release unstimulated first? The one definite I know is that they will be led by the Nomad on this and they can't sit on price sensitive information.

Fair enough Davey but it was declared to be in order to 'preserve cash' so I just hope it isn't a precursor to further, more significant announcements. My point was really that equity for services however tiny is dilution to shareholders so effectively more funding from us, if we do go for TE-11 then given the failed timelines it would be time for a gesture from those with the biggest pay packets. GLA nice people.

Not necessary - we know the equipment required to get the tests underway is 'anticipated' and the results will come 'in due course', in a way they have been perfectly explicit, that is 'We want our shareholders to have not the faintest idea when testing has started and results will arrive'.

I think it's time for the Directors to do their bit for cash preservation. I know the last lot of suppliers who were paid with stock to 'preserve cash balances' only received a relatively small amount but it's still dilution and that means the cash balances were actually preserved by existing shareholders. Given we were told over two years ago that it would be 12-18 months to LE perhaps there's a moral duty for them to do their bit - we weren't expecting to be funding this for so long. It's hardly unusual on AIM for Directors to work purely for their options and if the promises come to fruition they're all going to be handsomely enriched through their stock. More of a philosophical discussion really I know it won't happen obviously.

Here's some more rubbish - 1,2 trades yesterday evening. Absolutely definitely means an RNS coming, as in an announcement (into microphone) "One, two; one, two". Never fails....ah.

Suppose it could be any time today but typical POG not to be conventional and issue a 7am RNS.

I'm finding these results neither good or bad, very thin on information, in fact invisible.....

I agree it would be bucking a trend if for once delays were positive but we are in a unique position and we have been (albeit cryptically) advised to expect this. I've been hugely irritated by the equipment saga because if it was bad planning it would be incompetence and if it was by design I don't like having the wool pulled over my eyes - either way = irritating. I won't list the litany of things I have disapproved of over the years but fundamentally I trust the company to deliver and I strongly believe things are about to move very fast.

I think the likely success at TE-10 has perhaps shifted the emphasis in the seismic processing to proving up similar targets to TE-10. If that is the case and it has been alluded to I accept that it will take time and will be critical to optimum value at LE. What I don't understand is why that has necessitated a slow down on testing operations?

I know it's only a matter of time before we get the 'man up', 'grow a pair', 'relax and enjoy the Bank Holiday sun' etc but I'm very much in the camp that the delays are beyond farce. Even if they are tactical delays related to negotiations on our endgame we are still shareholders and there are still legal requirements around the issuing of RNS's. The phrase 'anticipating' the arrival of coiled tubing was clearly a smokescreen to engineer more time and personally I find that pretty irritating. The market has almost cut us in half after the original optimism of the TE-10 discovery which is hardly surprising, when have delays ever been a good thing on AIM? I accepted the 'big guns' delay but the coiled tubing which should have been arrranged at the outset is crazy and conveniently deployed as an excuse after BB's. We used to be capable of drilling and conducting testing in a reasonable timeframe, what on earth has happened, since TE-8 SOU have been seemingly irreversibly off-balance. Maybe the Nomad will step in and force a clear unambiguous statement on progress at TE-10.

Surely the biggest factor in when we might receive first news on testing is whether or not they are going to issue non-stimulated results before moving onto the stimulated tests. If they do then something could land on Tuesday however I sensed from the non-committal response I had about this is that they'd rather not. I don't think that would be a reflection of success or failure, just in line with restricted communications at this critical phase. The NOMAD might have something to say though so I don't think we can rule out news this month.

Given the build up one thing is for sure when results do come it's going to be worse than opening the exam envelope outside the school office. Sound have a habit of being quite emotional in the opening sentence so it might simply come down to...
"Sound Energy, the Moroccan focused upstream gas company, is delighted to announce......"
or,
"Sound Energy, the Moroccan focused upstream gas company announces......." eek!
