I would have thought it would make sense for EUZ to make a statement that the third phase met samples are at WA in Cornwall and metallurgical work is therefore unaffected by the Spanish lockdown. I assume there's no reason that other work on the borehole and monitoring the piezometers can't also continue. Why the heck they can't they be more proactive is beyond me, investors need to be reassured particularly at times like this.

Gar - during one of the interviews I noticed that LR emphasised the need for "low-contaminant" mining projects. Okay speculation, but that sounds like someone who knows he's got one. I think we're going to be fine for deleterious elements and let's hope we get an uplift on the zinc recovery though I got the impression it's unlikely to be dramatic. Next it's going to be fascinating to find out what the precise objectives of the third phase mets are, could it be to unlock the Cu?

Brikz from LR comments in the recent interviews I'm 99% certain the second phase mets are done and they're probably putting together the RNS and getting it approved etc. However I think it would be a good idea if they confirmed that that the third phase samples are safely with WA in Cornwall. I don't think there would be an issue with rock samples going through customs following the Spanish lockdown but it might calm the market with respect to EUZ to know that this last phase of work is unaffected by events in Spain.

VanV where to start? I've been through it all with POG, but for sure they're in a great place now with the POX Hub up and running. IRC has been an Albatros around their neck and that could get worse with the Chinese slowdown. Still, all production is ramping up in China again and with massive government stimulus, the Amur Bridge opening later this year maybe IRC will improve. I wouldn't recommend as what do I know but with FTSE 250 entry secured by virtue of low 20's last weeks pull-back could be a great opportunity.

Just for perspective did you know that a study by National Energy Action found that over 3,000 people die each year in the UK because they can't afford to properly heat their homes, that's the second-worst rate of excess winter deaths in Europe. Interestingly it's also a similar figure for deaths from Coronavirus in China (3,193) just because of fuel poverty in the UK. I'm not saying this isn't a serious problem but it says something about human nature that those annual deaths from a 'Poverty Pandemic' go largely unnoticed but when something's afoot that can strike at rich as well as poor it's panic stations. Perhaps the worried rich might do a bit more for the poor in this country if they scrape through this crisis?

Well done Drunk, and to further put it in perspective consider those figures which went largely unnoticed and certainly without mass panic or protest against the deaths due to Coronavirus in China to date.... 3,193. I'm certain many, many more people die before there time in the UK in a year due to poverty and disadvantage, I wonder why so much panic over this? Perhaps because anyone can get it not just the poor.

I particularly liked the fact that ALS Labs had to turn their mineralisation detection machine up to 11 to cope with our cores!

Like so many things in life it's not how big it is at the outset but by how much it grows.

Automakers have already restarted operations in Wuhan and there is likely to be a $570B injection of government spending according to PRC Macro. Could be a big bounce starting in China. I think western markets will turn as soon as there's evidence that new daily infections have peaked and the world hasn't come to an end.

At least one thing to be positive about is that operationally POG looks unlikely to suffer. China seems to be under control and they're ramping up factories again, the virus hasn't crossed the Amur River to Blagoveshchensk which is a big plus. The nearest case in Russia was in Chita in the neighbouring province to the west of Amur. That was a Chinese national who has since recovered without passing it on. Of course this is assuming official information is correct but I think we'd have heard from POG if there was an issue with operations.

I'm certainly tempted CofE, I was in the unusual position of considering averaging up in POG last week and now have the opportunity to average down so if I had the courage of my convictions.....

Okay before I call a truce it doesn't kill a vast quantity of people who catch it, the virus causes an illness which kills a SMALL quantity of people who catch it. I'm sure you mean well but you are exaggerating what is admittedly a severe problem. I don't understand why you're doing this but as an olive branch, I don't believe your intentions are at heart vexatious.

CofE nobody said it wasn't serious but this from your earlier post "Thousands if not 100’s millions could die maybe more". Hundreds of millions maybe more? There have been just over 3000 deaths in China where they now seem to be on top of it, I still think you are scaremongering.

Just to add in case anyone new missed the debate at the time, when WA deliver their report and EUZ prepare a mets RNS it then goes back to WA for approval plus being approved by our Nomad before publication. WA just wouldn't allow their work to be misrepresented so the allegation was never credible but that doesn't mean it isn't defamatory (IMO).

I think I have a boot in both camps here as I agree that not responding to trolls is generally the best response. We have someone here who pops up whenever there's a bit of red who just seems to get a kick out of taunting investors. If everyone ignored it they just wouldn't bother as you would be denying them the endorphin rush of getting the reaction. In the case of the Twitter guy I actually think there are serious allegations in that Tweet. Big difference in saying that an interview is embarrassing, which is fine just an opinion and claiming that price-sensitive information is being surpressed which over steps a legal boundary I believe.

Okay I sent it Brikz. I think the Directors should take it seriously as it clearly challenges their integrity. I don't think it is any less damaging just because it's on Twitter.
