Thanks Newbie very interesting find. I haven't the faintest which is likely to prove the more apposite but the stuff I found about analysing grain sizes seems to tie in with the MC comment from the last RNS and sounds more like metallurgy than computing technology but WTFDIK etc. Perhaps they are equally relevant as both seem to relate to mine performance. What does seem certain is that the size of the resource is beyond doubt and all work is about hammering down the economics of Toral.

Yep Mok it would be good to get some clearer guidance on what the cash position is and exactly what's funded, the last raise does seem to be going a very long way and we know WA aren't cheap. I desperate to hear that the zinc's up a bit and we have no problematic levels of deleterious elements. Then fascinating to find out what the 3rd phase is about - any ideas on "spatial representivity"?? - I found some stuff that suggests it could relate to grain sizes which is important for predicting the mine performance. I notice MC mentioned being excited at the "coarse-grained mineralisation" in the cores so maybe it's further economics on the Pb-Zn-Ag rather the investigating the Cu.

Mokgone on the 11th LR said that we're funded for the 3rd phase mets, are you expecting some new funding announcement? He also said that the 2nd phase mets were 'imminent', so I was expecting them sooner ('imminent' - about to happen) mind you I have form for expecting things sooner rather than later and it's usually later....

Oh and just to demonstrate their integrity they stressed that they wouldn't ever comment on specific projects (which I didn't expect) but were obviously happy to make that general statement.

From the horse's mouth - to date WAI metallurgical testwork is unaffected by the Coronavirus. They didn't seem to be at all outraged at me asking if work was continuing unlike some on here :)

Also you should have checked - people are still allowed to go to work in Spain except in crowded workplaces. I'm certain that a drilling contractor would only be too pleased to keep business going with an assignment on a remote hill with a small team, if they didn't want to I certainly wouldn't advocate compelling them. ...... I think it's incredible that we haven't had an operational update with the Coronavirus chaos in Spain. Could even be done positively as met sample should be in Cornwall by now and I can't see why hydrological monitoring would be disrupted plus I'm sure a small team of water engineers can drill a borehole in the lockdown. Pretty ordinary IMO.

Well I hope so Brikz but they have RNS'd that "The significant material recovered from hole TOD-025 will be utilised for a third phase of testwork by Wardell Armstrong" so it's going ahead. The question is for what end? The only clue is that's to make the economics "even better" and also the "spatial representivity" comment in the RNS. I suppose that could be to do with further understanding the distribution of Pb-Zn-Ag in the resource and have nothing to do with the copper but just because LR indicated that a developer will mine the copper it doesn't mean that there isn't value in us proving that it will be economic to do so. Guessing as ever.

Garster deleterious elements and by-products will be dealt with in the second phase metallurgy we're told. I have to admit what I don't know is whether having this third phase will mean a further round of deleterious testing after that as we don't know what the precise objectives of the third phase mets are. I tried to find out and was told it is "To make the economics even better". Obviously that is deliberately vague as I wouldn't have thought they're planning to re-work the Pb-Ag recoveries as they're already excellent and the 2nd phase is already dealing with improving the Zn. That just leaves the ever enigmatic Cu. Supposing the 3rd phase mets are to unlock the copper then I honestly don't know if you then need to investigate contaminants associated with that process. I have no professional expertise in this area and like most of us learning as I go, I just hope it doesn't turn out to be the most expensive geology course in history!

Yes UDF and exactly what was needed. It's something of a miracle that the virus didn't get to Blagoveshchensk before the border closed, that would have been a disaster as I expect many of our workers come from that area. I would just say for balance that IRC is certain to suffer due to the factory closures in China, there will also be additional delays to the Amur bridge inevitably. I hope the company update regularly as most of our workers live on-site in extended shifts due to the remoteness so any cases at the operations could have serious consequences. To date I think the nearest case is a single contained case in the neighbouring province to west, so for once (touch wood) the plague of locusts seems to have spared POG.

One of my other stocks (POG) put out an exemplary RNS reassuring investors about the companies position today. After the Spanish lockdown EUZ should have at least clarified that the latest met samples have been delivered to Cornwall and so technical work can continue despite the problems in Spain. I also don't forsee a problem with the continuing hydrological monitoring but I'd like to hear that from the company. The silence is dreadful in my opinion and pretty contemptuous to investors, you might have noticed I'm generally supportive of the company :) but I'm really, really disappointed they've left us guessing over this. One caveat I will make is that we're not exactly overstaffed so if it's been all hands to the pumps on the 2nd phase mets and we get the clarity over Q2 works dare I say tomorrow at 7am then I'll take it back.

RB I assume Laurence meant that it's a farce that they're needed in a country that should have an adequate welfare system - at least I hope that's what he meant.

Best wishes Wraith - if it helps, my wife is a nurse prac and is absolutely relaxed about the severity of this virus in terms of its stress on individuals. Nothing worse then as a human you are likely to face every winter. As I have said before over 3000 people die a year quietly from fuel poverty in the UK, the same figure as Coronavirus fatalities in China to date. The difference with this is anyone can get it including wealthy old people - heard Norman Lamont on R4 at the weekend sounding panicky about young people spreading the virus. I wonder how many sleepless nights he's had over the years worrying about poverty in the UK - the shame on the country of food banks etc... Yep absolutely zero.

Brikz just ignore - it's all just designed to wind up people up and rather distastefully the current health crisis is providing fertile ground for weirdo's who get off on that stuff. I read these posts for a few weeks and when satisfied there was a complete absence of coherent analysis I filtered. If I believed there is any remote possibility that a negative poster might know something about my investment that I don't I would want to read about it however uncomfortable - that's not the case here.

I'm not in favour of suspension (as things stand) the SP is already ludicrous to the asset and I'm looking to buy more. They just need to get some comms out there that the Q2 work programme is unaffected by the Spanish lockdown. Would also have helped to have had the funding reassurance in the last RNS rather than coming from interview comment.
