I really do hope JV considers rewarding himself and other holders with some dividend out of the £2 million or so due by year end.
I demand something back after all these years.
I think it was a good time to focus on our investment in Ideon and the fact it’s almost ten bagged for us with plenty more potential.
But true to form, JV mumbled on about how he’s not sure about this and the other, etc.
Maybe Nomad led, but come on it’s on as if the price was storming away over the NAV!
Yes a great result for MAFL.
But if this goes to plan, then Ideon could be a unicorn in the making!

A 100k buy reported after hours too -timed around 4pm.
Quite a busy day barring the red finish, helped along by a dubious looking UT at close.
Around 415k buys versus around 130k sells. That is quite buoyant for a stock like MAFL, however we ended the day off 5%.
God help us on a net sell day lol.
Well that certainly makes more sense now and indeed simplifies the ownership structure of LS.
However, does raise a few questions about what these options consist of.
I think JV needs to explain this properly to investors as there is a material difference to what was originally agreed. He should have clarified this in the last interview but still maintained we would be left with 20% without touching on the ASND options.
I agree the company is undervalued and does not yet properly account for even a 5% stake in the project but still transparency is good for everyone and buying this information in the results is not really ideal in my opinion.
This topic has been discussed to death over the years with still no real clarity.
It’s time JV made this crystal clear for investors.
In the latest interview he says that once all the payments have been received from ASND, then ‘WE’ will be left with 20%. However, he then goes on to say there is another investor and they hold 15% and we are trying to negotiate, etc.
What is it?
MAFL own around 1.5% and it’s looking very good.

Thanks for the other viewpoints on this matter.
Well, she’s looking more buoyant today and so if this carries on then I won’t be having a moan about any dividend in the short term.
MAFL deserves a much better rating than what is currently being offered by the market.
If one day the market decides to value the company on medium term potential, then I agree with the poster who reckoned it should be trading 50p plus.
I respectfully disagree Quad.
I don’t want to appear selfish but I have been invested here around five years and in that time MAFL have made tremendous progress and now hold something like 26 investments including LS.
However, I find it difficult to reconcile the fact that in all this time, I have never been above water with this company and still continue to show red despite all the progress.
MAFL have thus far netted around $6 million in hard cash and been given and hold over 2.2 million shares in ASND, with $2.5 million cash still to come by y/e. These figures are for the LS investment only.
To give a small percentage back to the loyal, suffering holders is not a big ask at all and still leaves the company with plenty of cash in relation to its size.
MAFL cannot seem to get the share price anywhere near the NAV to Regis the it’s investments, so how do shareholders benefit here if not by a special dividend now and then.
I would have offered holders 1p/share after the latest $1 mill payment from ASND and promised holders another penny upon receiving the $2.5 million. I wonder how the share price would have reacted then.
I have no issue holding here for another 5 years but as a shareholder I want to see some reward even if that is simply a feel-good factor knowing my investment in this company is well in the blue.
