If it's not the fact that oil prices came crashing down for both Brent and WTI crude respectively at $71 and $68, the SP would have probably stayed within the 125-130 range at least. Not only was SQZ hit hard on the way down, but others too like HBR, ITH, even majors like BP and Shell too kept seeing their sps coming down as well. So hence SQZ's slide isn't an isolated case of a bad fundamental stock going down here if a whole O@G sector is coming down too. I will really worry if most stocks within the sector are doing well and SQZ is the only one with a bad share price performance. This might be the bottom call here probably.
The bod had to be really confident in the company's future cash flow generation here to be able to give out the 9p interim divi despite the atrocious SP at current, and I take that as a good sign of upward confidence unless if they screw up in their future plans moving out of the UK.
