MH01, why are you pouring cold water on this? The people who profited most from this very share were those who invested in an exploration company that struck gold. Some saw 30x returns on their investment. Of course explorers need a lot of luck, but backing a team that has had past success is no bad idea. Just only put in as much as you're willing to lose, and play the fundraising cycles accordingly.

Not sure that tracks. Selling off a smaller asset is going to be a quicker process while you focus on getting top dollar for the bigger ticket transactions.

Timber, no one is really disputing whether or not this is a good deal for GGP. Whether it is a good deal for longstanding retail investors is a totally different matter and depends on your average and available capital to average down.

This morning's price action indicates you might not get 4.8p on the open market.

Mixed feelings about this week's news. On the one hand I'm grateful for clarity after months of sitting on a paper loss and hoping that work was going on behind the scenes, which we now know it was.

I first invested in GGP believing that we owned 30% of an asset that was 12-24 months away from producing. I bought in at 15p but staggered my buying. The NCM/NMM takeover threw a massive spanner in the works and I had to revise my timelines accordingly.

NMM deeming Hav as non core to its future has added further delays. My preferred outcome was for Wyloo to take the 70% and Telfer and we remain as a junior partner with a decent exploration PF.

This week's outcome is a win for those who have averages around the 5p mark. For those like me at 10p it poses a conundrum - average down further or sit and wait. For those at 15p and 20p it's extremely painful.

I think over a 2-3 year timeframe this represents a very good investment. And well done to those who sold out over recent months waiting to buy back in lower.

I guess that all depends on the price we raise capital at, doesn't it? But yes I imagine they'll be looking to close out their position as soon as the shares are readmitted for trading.

BSR, if there is a falling out or disagreement, all parties they will refer back to the contract they've signed, and a court of arbitration will decide who is in the right (or wrong) based upon the facts of the matter. Thankfully, both organisations have been highly supportive partners to date and enjoy long-standing relationships with our senior executives and major shareholders. They also have a (massive) interest in seeing this mine developed and built.

What next? The company gets on with what it has told the market it plans to do, which is work to the plan set out by FN and Osisko to unlock funding and continue developing Cascabel. If in the meantime a major decides to make a move for the company then we all profit handsomely.

SOLG is, objectively, in a more financially secure position than it has been for the last 12-18 months.

Centamin has always been a pure play gold miner. Always my go to for exposure to POG.

If you want exposure to gold, buy a gold producer as I did the other week (CEY), an ETF or good old fashioned coins.

I'm still holding here because I'd be fuming after all these years to miss out on the end game. But I'm not expecting any fireworks for a while.
