Algo bots but surely get stuck when selling and buying to each other? As a PI, it's time to sit back and let this unfold. We don't sell unless they are willing to pay more. Risk deserves reward. Big reward, not 10%

Agree. Hold on tight. Low free float may be easy to short but closing may not be as easy if PIs hold out.

And topped up again with funds moved. Bit heavy now in relation to my portfolio with nearly 15% in THG. My average has improved very nicely but am sweating a bit TBH!

I am perplexed by the lack of more Director buys given the bombed out SP - maybe they cannot and hope some news is imminent. Topped up again at 66.04 today, let's hope this pays off. ATB

This is depressing for sure. Let's hope MM has a plan to get the SP out of this downward spiral. I realise the market in general was battered but this is depressing nevertheless.

I take a contrarian view Goldy 7. Will stick my neck out and say finish blue. Uncertainty about SB intention was a problem perhaps and that is now removed. Also allows other interested partners to consider moving into this space. This all feels hugely managed and remember a number of firms attempting to set up platforms such as the ones THG have? Why not partner rather than build from scratch? This opens the doors.....IMO

Nasty drop and was too quick for me to release funds elsewhere to buy as had used my buffer yesterday at 69! Mopping up stops i assume. Nasty.

Business Secretary Kwasi Kwarteng will meet with North Sea oil and gas producers tomorrow to discuss the government’s windfall tax.

The roundtable discussion will be attended by executives of North Sea-focused firms such as Harbour Energy and Neptune Energy, but not the international oil majors, Bloomberg reported.

The talks come in response to the government’s Energy Profits Levy, which was passed into law earlier this month increases taxation on oil and gas profits by 25pc. Independent producers have said that the tax will disproportionately affect them compared to major oil companies, some of which have been posting record profits thanks to soaring energy prices.

He ain't going to be happy given he is about 20% under for his investment. Let's hope he manages to sort out and ditch the golden share. No place for it in a listed company really. Atb folk. Keep a steadybhead. Panic is what the big boys are depending on.

Hopefully we will see some more director buys at these levels.

Seav, agree - any excuse about avoiding negative optics is blown anyway with the imposition of the WFT. Shell need to catch up with peers on this issue. ATB
