These are facts. NXP002 works and companies are interested in it.
I can only see a positive result for NFX - it is merely the timescale that is uncertain

although he did say most of the rev from new deal will be in 2021 not this year.

Definitely making progress but i am a little concerned about the case position. The last few RNSs whilst positive have not had any numbers attached which is always a bit of a concern IMHO - even with NDAs etc

we are funded for all current drilling and testing work, which should be completed in Q1- afterwards if EUZ decide they have sufficient data and sufficient indicated resources then their costs come down considerably.
A sale will happen when it happens - hopefully end of Q1/early Q2 .
I doubt there will be another placing if a sale is delayed unless the current drill has identified a decent amount of copper, which i think is very possible. There are of course alternatives if additional funding is required

they have a pre FDA meeting later in Q3 2020 - CEO made a big deal about their advisers being great, but this meeting seems common sense surely - so this may create some interest, however, short term funding needs to be resolved. Last placing was to get POLX through phase 3. This has been achieved but money will surely now be low.
Not saying we need a placing but until finances are solid can see this slowly drifting IMHO

Resignations in small companies are always a concern and do panic some people, however, let's stay focused on the prize.

In Sept 2019 (see below) NFX announced the appointment of a leading lung disease consultant to advance NXP002 and in Dec the placing was to improve NFXs negotiation strength in these meetings, as per the RNS.
It has also been confirmed by RNS that we are currently in negotiations with more than one Japanese company.

Clearly the Chinese money would be nice, and may still get resolved, but it was not included in the H1 report , which showed to me that NFX weren't confident and hence the fundraise.

Nothing that has happened in the last few weeks has impacted NXP002 progress IMHO.

The appointment reflects progress made with Nuformix's NXP002 programme as a treatment for Idiopathic Lung Fibrosis (IPF) as it finalises its clinical development plans. Muhunthan joins the Scientific Advisory Board with immediate effect.



Dr. Thillai is the Lead Clinician for the Cambridge Interstitial Lung Disease Unit, where he is also currently appointed as a Consultant. Dr Thillai began his training in London and Oxford where he gained Membership of the Royal College of Physicians. He was awarded a personal Research Training Fellowship from the Wellcome Trust. This allowed him to undertake three years of scientific research into sarcoidosis, in which Muhunthan specialises in addition to IPF.

Although hopefully we are now at the bottom only contract news will move the share price.

good to see the solid 2019 numbers and positive outlook for 2020 onwards being positively received, however, just wonder what impact the coronavirus may have. XPD has a growing presence in China and this was seen as a growth area

yes, Cathal is always positive but nuggets for me were:
1. news to drop in weeks, not months
2. Jupiter now out so selling pressure should ease
3. Whitechapel facility being utilised asap
4. pipeline of deals is strong
5. deal by end of 2020 - it appears a buyer may already be lined up. Priced of £100m quoted
6. Will be EBITA positive end of Q1/Q2 at the latest

the £1.5m profit for Feb alone does seem realistic.

Just looking at H1 numbers the admin for the 6 month period was only £632k - so just over £100k per month.

Jan 2020 rev was £1.63 but we have a lot more machines now and BTC price is higher.

So based on £2.5m rev and a 70% gross margin (was 73% in Q3 2019 when BTC was a similar price) that will generate a gross profit of 1.75m - take off say £200k for admin and there's your £1.5m.

Amazing opportunity here - even conservatively ARB should be £50m min

the constant share reduction, despite decent results, does suggest some feel a placing is on the cards.

agree NXP002 is the key here. Negotiations have been confirmed - if this drops Q1, as have previously been mentioned then this is game changing.
Everything else is just noise

we do need to see contract info though as this has been on a downward trend for last 6 months as IMHO it is a difficult company to value. Yes we have the £4m rev target for 2020 which hopefully should generate c£1m PBT, however, people appear to be waiting for evidence that these numbers will be hit.
Also think there is some mistrust since the last placing after GB spent months telling everyone that cash was fine.
Hopefully contract news will drop soon as the potential here is massive

Noticed that the takeover of Harry's razors valued at £1.4bn has fallen through due to competition concerns. This got me thinking.
Here is a small company taking on the big boys in a huge market that hasn't had massive innovation for years via predominantly a unique DTC strategy.

So hair removal is the female equivalent and IDP has mentioned innovation and already effectively utilise DTC. So if IDP could be 10% as successful then we are onto a winner.
We can dream.

Assuming NUTHINK is going up directly against this then it's a big market - even a 10% share would be a great return

it think in addition to £400k development costs FinnCap said marketing would be c£200k this year (so spent before 30/6/2020).
SD are meant to be matching this 1:1 so £400k online and in store marketing is a decent chunk.
Don't forget 2020 estimates don't include any rev for new product yet it will be in all 780 SD stores from early March - i think there are 9 SKUs so that's a decent initial order - maybe c£250k.
