Petrofac and WG are working in similar sector, point I am trying to get across is this is what happens when you lose control over finances.Lets get this refinancing sorted and market would rate it accordingly.

@Alavib contract wins mean nothing,Petrofac has shafted its shareholders abd it has an orderbook of around 6 billions.Carrillion was another contractor which was "too big to fail".

Not really, I am happy to debate.Problem is you seem to think that these problems does not exist.If market had any confidence in numbers given by this BOD share-price wont be trading around 25.50.Company is expecting to lose 250 millions this year alonge, add working capital and debt repayments.Assuming that they manage to dispose some assets how much can they raise?There is no way lenders can let them carry on without injecting fresh equity!

This company requires £400 millions whatever way you look at it.If it did not require to pay off lenders this year then we can say that they can raise working capital through disposing assets.However company wont money any money this year, you cant trust numbers given for next year and they dont have any money available to pay off debt, how do you think these issues will be sorted?

Does not matter company is still expected generate negative cash flow in 2025 and that is why market is concerned.They have to find money to pay off debt and for working capital.

Whatever the issue is,net result is debt has gone up and company needs more money.As far as winning contracts is concerned,petrofac had massive order-book when it nearly wiped out shareholders.It would be buisness as usual for company but shareholders would be wiped out.

Problem is 90% of time when you see word "strategic review" and "fincial restructuring" in an RNS it means placing and rights issue.There can be many examples where shareholders had a complete wipe out.I still think that if it was not for covid company wont be in this situation.Right now management seems to be out of depth, you cant trust anything they have said.They will need to sell some assets to pay off debt and then will need additional money for working capital.Not an ideal scenario for shareholders.

Lol try telling that to petrofac shareholders, there is no way this company can get out of this mess without rights issue

Deal they have is structured in a way that they are always in profit.Share price rise they can convert debt into shares and sell and make a hefty profit.Share price falls and they can convert debt into shares.Last time they can converted shares around 2p and they could have sold them shares at 7.50.What would you do, there is a reason these sort of death spiral deals are loathed by private investers!

They have this God-send opprtunity to convert these shares at more than 100% profit to dump them onto mug-punters.

Nobody knows, it can go on for months or in some cases months.I do think hot money absorbed some sells over last two days and is not there anynore to absorb them anymore.

You do talk some sense when you post on other shares.In this case Sanderson is converting loan into shares by the looks of it and they can dump them onto mugpunters for 100% profit.Besides that market always look at fundamentals and adjust the price accordingly.It would have been closer to zero as we all know that "fake bid" was loads of bs.However Russian war was blessing in disguise for these clowns.On the same token mug punters have lost the plot, many majors exited Russia and Putin confiscated all of their assets.Why would somebody lend these clowns anymoney for them worthless assets.
