For company, any other has to pay more and I cant see that happening.

I have seen that happening to flybe, where it rejected a high offer and sold it for a token money of £1 per share.Bringing in an outsider was a mistake, they should have sorted out refinancing a year ago and that would put company in a really strong position.

I do think some traders got in to make a quick buck and got caught in this fiasco.Some of them were desperately trying to bs their way out of it.Important lesson is market tends to give you right picture most of time and can be ruthless.

Unless institutional investors oppose it, they will be required to stump up 450 million, that will wipe out existing shareholders.Part of me tells me that they were aware of this offer.Sidara has got really good deal if it can turn around company and unlock intangible asset and good-will value.

Reject this offer they will need to put in 450 million and that would wipe out current shsreholders.That would be based on a scenario that somehow this company can be turned around.If not they will lose hell a lot of money.It will be interesting to see what lenders will do as lenders are most likely to support Sidara's ofger given they will be paid.

@longfell you do know how PE companies work,they borrow money to buy a company and sell company's parts to pay back borrowed money and pocket the difference.It only works if market is undervaluing company and company is worth more than market capital.

I agree that it could be going really cheap but putting in 450 while these clownd are at helm is a massive risk!

Billion for this buisness as it is taking on 1.1 billion debt on as well.Which seems fair.It is a turn around play for them too but they have money and experience to turn it around.

Luca I was not posting "negative" I was trying to figure out what was going on, I have seen quite a few of these scenarios so was confident that Sidara is trying to take advantage of weak financial condition this company is in.They have got it really really cheap if you ask me but I still think there is more to it.

Go through my posts I said that equity will only have some value if Sidara goes ahead with offer and in my opinion offer was around 40.

Like another firm can appear bla bla bla, I had to say it but this company only suits to Sidara due to its background.Alternatiively investers would need to pump in 450 million or even more themsrlves and then it would be a turnaround play, but whoever would pump in that 450 million would take away most of equity

Lol check their half yearly report which was posted in August 2024, it is all in there.But I guess you cant be bothered doing that.

Funny thing is Company believes that its intangible assets and good-will value is worth about 2.8 billion, that should value equity around 1.7 billion if we exclude net debt.Market is valuing equity around 170 million and that is 90% less.Sidara will need to believe that actual value is more than 1.8 billion it has to pay for this company.

I still believe that,lets see if Sidara goes ahead with this take-over offer.I cant see that happening!

And latest figure I could find out was for June 2024 Cash was around 150 million.Amazingly 45 million was restricted.What stood out was majority of these assets were intangible and good-will assets and they are always hard to put a value on.We can only get latest cash figure once we have audited results.Problem is it is really hard to put a value on intangible and good-will assets.
