Actual talks are being held between lenders and Sidara.That 35 offer is not gauranteed and Sidara can make a lower offer or walk away.What options lenders have if Sidara walks away?

Not really majority of debt matures in October 2026 and some of that needs repaying this year.

You do know that a big chunk of debts needs to be reapaid very soon this year and company does not have money to pay even half of it and administration costs are thrre too.Equity is toast here and I did warn you of this.

That £450 million is needed for administration costs, audited results would clarify a lot of things.Time is on Sidara's side and they will take advantage of it sadly.Lenders are in chsrge now and Sidara is directly talking to lenders.Two likely scenarios Sidara offer a 10/15/20p offer and take pay off lenders or Sidara walk away and lenders impose D4E swap or rights issue.Second scenario would wipe out shareholders.

Lol problem is Sidara will dictate the price now and each RNS has weakened negotiating power of Wood group.If they walk away lenders will require company to raise money before agreeing to any refinancing and there are two ways of doing that.D4E or Rights issue both of which will wipe out existing shareholders.If Sidara goes ahead with bid then they will take care of lenders.As long as Sidara's offer is better than rights issue and D4E it will be recommended by BOD and should be accepted by shareholders.Why will they pay 35p when they know that a low offer would be accepted?

Kamanies would buy this out of administration and that is end plan.They removed two competent people and replaced them with people who oversaw this complete value destruction.

There is a difference though Gaza was a small area controlled by hamas, Iran has caused some srrious damage to Israel.If America joins in then Iran will certaintly try to choke global oil supply to exert maximum pressure on rest of world.Problem is these sort of wars can take longer than people anticipate, nobody thought that Ukrainian war would take this long.On the flip side Russia will benefit from surging price of oil .

It is price of oil that is worrying market.Not only it will affect profitability of airlines it can lead to significant inflation, so a double blow for airlines.Not an ideal situation when you have five billions to pay!
