Sidara ois holding its cards close to chest. It wont reveal them before time.Another possible scenario is they can let company recapitalise and come back later. If management has managed to turn it around they can pay more otherwise can pick up pieces. These carporate guys are most ruthless guys you can find on planet.
Problem is in most of these cases shareprice sits around at least 90% of take-over price and then we see a small fluctuations here and there. In this case difference is whooping 45%.
RE: 10% gain wiped out to finish flat22 Apr 2025 20:59
James does not fit in well with refinancing talks, we all know that we cant predict how long auditing process will take, it can take a week or two and can take months.
RE: 10% gain wiped out to finish flat22 Apr 2025 20:21
Well Sidara deal is not final, I believe they will be getting a bargain at 35 but they can walk away or may even lower share price.I would say it is 50/50 from here.Sidara will need to show its cards
Nobody knows about suspension time22 Apr 2025 18:51
I have hardly seen any suspension lasting a week or two and truth is there is nothing BOD can do as it is out of their hands. It is upto auditors, they will sign these accounts when they are ready to do so.It is minimum a month or two.
Speculative money wont move this share either way.A lot depends on Sidara.Audited results can take 1 week, two or two months or even more nobody knows.
RE: How many had fomo this morning?22 Apr 2025 15:36
It is net debt and cash injection that is big problem here.If there was any other interested party it would have shown its hand.I am not ruling out a second bidder but company is running out of time.Sadly privateholders often get these sort of situations very wrong.I was in Flybe, there were multiple interested parties and all sort of numbers were thrown about.Company was sold for token price of 1 per share. There are many other examples.Bod shouod be sacked for sheer incompetence.
RE: How many had fomo this morning?22 Apr 2025 15:25
Me and James had a lengthy debate it over weekend. It only suits to a bidder who is already in same sector.I am of view that Sidara wont pay 35 when they can away with paying lower price as technically it should be aacepted as long as it is better than any other option available.
RE: How many had fomo this morning?22 Apr 2025 14:43
Falcon fair enough, but in these sort of circumstances 90% of times private investors are screwed.Sidara is sitting at a position where it can offer any price upto 35 and shareholders will be minded to accept it.
RE: How many had fomo this morning?22 Apr 2025 14:07
20p today but as we approach suspension date it can go lower.I would not worry about Luca, he is a trader and his opinions change several times depending on if he is in or out based on "reputation criteria".
Not bad, I am trying to figure out how does this "reputation" thing work and what parameters do you consider. Are you trying to say you buy in when you think that company has got good reputation and sell when "reputation" is bad?
That is what your investment decision was basen on, but then sold to buy back back in, so may be that reputation was tarnished, which made you change your mind.
