lot of abuse when I suggested that this deal is dead as it is highly unlikely that any country would go against America.Lets hope that a mou is converted into contract as these lot would struggle to get next placing away at any reasonable price.

is nearly here, we are expecting another mou to be converted into contract, much promised Iranian contract is dead , we always get some sort of update in December followed by placing in January according to past 4 years.Lets hope things are different this time.

I do think that if 2014/15 in anything to go by then we would see a lot of takeovers/mergers in oil industry and Ophir could be one of takeover targets.Having said that Ophir tried to take over premier oil at one point. 1.5 Billion they had have long gone.

It kind of reminds me of meltdown of 2014/15 where some stocks were crazily undervalued, I remember seeing pmo at 19 and thinking has market gone crazy.Current environment reminds me of that scenario.Having said that Ophir was sitting on pile of cash at that time and could have bought cheap producing assets at that time but did not do so.I think they bought salamander energy and spare money was used to buy back some of the shares from market.

think that moving to standard listing was announced before than potential bidders got involved. Take overs can take months in some cases.

don't think you could compare sepu with flyb, sepu was not profitable and was losing money. Flybe does seem to be attractive to other airlines as it would not have attracted the offer of 55 not so long ago.At the end of the day it is how other party values flybe assets it could put 150 or 200 million on flybe or 50 or 100.I reckon falling poo would definitely improve their balance sheet as it was one of two things that were blamed on. Secondly flybe aircraft carriers are small and they may not be making much money out of these and their competitors with big aircraft carriers are doing well. I hope that is why they have potentially three bidders interested
