The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode with London Stock Exchange Group's Chris Mayo has just been released. Listen here.
On twitter I think 1p is a fair price to ask for. They won't have to pay Dave Molyneux I'm sure so that's 15m shares. Plus their ones. It'll cost them a million pounds. They won't want to pay But if their bookings fall, especially on cruiseprofessionals which relies on well off customers. I will make clear that bookings are in danger should a class action be brought forward. Better off booking elsewhere Cruiseprofessionals charge customers upwards of 80k per booking for a couple. They can't afford to lose a single customer never mind 10.
Quite a few posts popping up :)
But I will be getting friends to repost. I will keep it up until I hear from them
https://m.facebook.com/itravel2000 have left comments on their offers.
To return 1p a share to holders. They took our companies for probably 5m pounds. Daylight robbery. They will want to protect their investment from a social media class action. Their customers will look elsewhere if they appear to have stolen the company. Which they have basically Might be worth them saying 1m pounds to stop the business getting a bad reputation.
I will and have done Can we be the first to hold a company accountable through social media? I wonder in Dominic at The Times would back such a campaign?? we could ask if there was a law firm willing to challenge it on a no win no fee basis. They could take 30% of all money recovered
Please be polite. Something like: Dear itravel2000, please can you return 1p a share to shareholders. You have taken over this company by stealing our shares. We would urge customers to book their holidays through a different company in the meantime. Regards copy and paste :)
Writing on their Facebook. Perhaps if it affected bookings they might offer us some money to shut up! Lol
Endeavours and investments. Thanks for posting. Regards
you are correct
Steal the 2 companies. I mean pay 5m for both when they're obviously worth more. Must be some laws to protect against that. Will need to talk to a Canadian lawyer maybe for more info :)
That's the other thing I thought before falling asleep! :) they may come back with a slight dilution and a million pounds dilution. Nigel Jenkins and Chris are only helping in the interim. They may be back at Tvz before long too And what do they have experience with? Travel. And they have a travel company here setup and listed. So use it Listing is worth 300k, they don't even throw that away for nothing. Might get sold or reversed into by someone else.
To sell Tvz cheaply hence why previous deals fell through. So I'm confident that the board have achieved the best price possible. Just a little patience required guys
That wound up before so I'm hoping as there are 2 directors still not mentioned they remain on Tvz board. If there is money over the 15m debt then who knows what their plans are. Mark Molyneux ousted Jonathan Carroll in July. He holds 15million shares, they can't walk away without giving him anything. He is a shareholder like us with obvious influence. I think there's some info to come yet, those companies are worth more than 15m pounds that we've sold. Cruiseprofessionals is worth 6 to 8m I believe and itravel2000 much more than that.
Before the wind up there is stuff to settle, we wait to see what comes of it.
...for some good news hopefully :)
have anything to do with Hendersons?
it'll go something like both sold for 20m pounds. After fees etc there's 3 million surplus which will be returned to shareholders at 2p a share or something. Could be so many ways it plays out. It is still hugely positive for us that a sale has been achieved, what if novody was interested in the companies then we would just be wound up and gotten nothing.
up and down. Comes down to details of the deal, then you can ignore SP movements.
onwards for an update. Would expect the legal team would have been working through the night though
