a duty to protect their shareholders. I believe ALLG shareholders should be warned about Nigel Jenkins who is a Director there. Our directors failed to protect our interests. Either through complete dishonesty. Or at least through a disgusting lack of care. Either way I will be writing to LSE shortly, the London Stock Exchange.
Can you sign into Facebook and post on itravel2000 page please mdmd. You will see a number of us have already. The sale of both companies was apparently less than 15 million pounds even though they were previously offered for the company. They also had debt at the time. elleway coming in as financial backers was a setup from the start and the bod would have been aware of that. They should have pulled the plug then before more people bought shares due to them leaking rumours of a sale being prepared to pay off debts That is unless they wanted to remain trading to sell off shares between friends and family. Directors etc
Twitter helped overthrow governments, is it worth investing in Now I'm not saying invest, I'm saying this is how powerful social media can be. Don't write it off, join in, sign up and tweet. Same with Facebook, they have not had any customers post on the site since we began our campaign. Don't you think 7 days down the line they will notice a difference? Keep it up guys Twitter shares: Is it worth investing and how do you buy? http://dailym.ai/16CLp1B @MailOnline
Travelzest’s board of directors have declared the company’s shares “worthless” rendering it bankrupt. According to The Times, proceeds from Monday’s sale of itravel2000 and The Cruisse Professionals were not sufficient to discharge the £15 million in debt that Travelzest had accumulated. Shareholders are demanding to know how much was realized from the sale to Aldenham Canada, a company backed by Travelzest’s main lender, Elleway Acquisitions saying that since the sale was made to the company’s primary lender, full disclosure should be made. Open Jaw has been advised by Travelzest investor Khaled Khandokar that he and other shareholders have launched “a campaign for Aldenham to ensure that we are given some value for our holdings.” Mr. Khandokar says that shareholders have contacted itravel2000 and hope to gain support in seeking some compensation from the sale. He says, “LDC and Aldenham are both companies of Chiko Nanji. One pulled financing while the other offered a tiny amount to buy itravel2000. Forcing administration by undervaluing assets. Did our Directors know? Were they privy to it, did they sell their shares in the build up? Nigel Jenkins holds shares. Mark Molyneux held 15million, did he sell them in the last 2 months? We want to know.” However, the board said that the proceeds from the sales — both to— were insufficient to discharge creditors. “It is therefore highly unlikely that shareholders will receive any return for the shares they hold.” Some investors called on the board to reveal how much the disposals had realised. One said: “This company has been appallingly run. Given that its remaining assets have been sold to its lender, it should at least provide full disclosure on the proceeds.”
Thank you for being in touch Mr ***** – we do hope you are able to obtain full disclosure. We have included your comments in our story this a.m. on the Travelzest bankruptcy. http://www.openjaw.com/stories/story.php?id=3606/shares-declared-worthless-travelzest-goes-under Please keep in touch about any new developments. Regards, Suzanne
To whom it may concern, I write regarding your recent appointment as administrators of Travelzest. I have a few questions and hope you can answer them. 1: When were you first contacted by Elleway to be appointed as administrators? 2: Can you email us a copy of the latest major shareholders list. We are especially interested in seeing if Nigel Jenkins held c260,000 at the time of administration. And also if Mark Molyneux held c.15million shares at the time of administration. We would like to know that those on the inside were affected by the deal as we as shareholders are. 3: Is there scope for the news owners, Aldenham Canada, to request that you distribute proceeds of sale to shareholders before paying certain other costs? We agree that 1p a share will be an acceptable level of compensation. We have reason to believe that Travelzest at the time leaked rumours that Sunwing and Redtag were in talks to buy itravel2000. We also believe that these rumours were leaked to effectively raise the share price whilst at the same time attracting investment from private investors such as myself. These rumours were leaked to Dominic Walsh at The Times newspaper and also to Jen Savedra at Travel Industry Today who both tweeted this. They since agree that the board of Directors have 'shafted' investors. We hope you can advise your client, Mr. Nanji, that it is imperative that he consider a resolution to protect the repuation of his companies and brands. I thank you for your attention to this matter and look forward to hearing from you. Please send all correspondence to: shareholderactiongroup@hotmail.co.uk and copy myself in. Yours sincerely On behalf of Travelzest shareholders
To whom it may concern, I am sure you are aware of the recent announcement affecting Travelzest shareholders. I would like to make you aware that itravel2000, The Cruise Professionals, and other businesses in your group will be named and shamed in a major Toronto media outlet this coming Monday 11/11/13. I understand that to stop any further damage to the reputation of your businesses, the shareholders are demanding a compensation of 1 pence per share held. Please contact: shareholderactiongroup@hotmail.co.uk to discuss a settlement. We look forward to hearing from you. Kind regards Molly.Chudnovsky@edelman.com Katie.clark@edelman.com
did you email njenkins last night? Can we make it clear that All Leisure Group where he also a board member will get attention if we do not get a reasonable response from Aldenham soon
Can you sort their email please. I will also mail them now
Hi thanks for dropping by I've been unable to find any contact address for Jonathan Carroll at all so far If anybody does then please post.
And Facebook posts please. Running low this morning! Let them turn up to work with us to deal with. They want to concentrate on going about 'business as usual'. If the business reporter at the times says you've been shafted, you've been shafted! And still we're not moving. I will pass message onto advfn now, already did yesterday. Will remind them
Tweet by Dominic Walsh? Replied to my tweet regarding Chiko!
On itravel2000 page Title it the new owner of itravel2000 is this man http://www.ripoffreport.com/r/Hanif-chiko-Nanji/Montreal-Quebec-/Hanif-chiko-Nanji-7928033-Canada-Inc-landlord-Chiko-Nanji-poor-business-practices-Mon-802369
With your posts on their Facebook. 1 star recommend
We want proceeds from sale of the 2 companies though. Why were our assets sold off on the cheap in exchange for? Cash? The UK based directors especially should be very wary from hereon in. Also Canada has strict laws, I will most certainly be in contact with the Canadian justice system. I will make clear that we will never consider investing in Canada due to the disgusting business ethics we have experienced. And I will bring to their attention and hopefully get them to get in touch to clarify their position.
I have a few appointments to keep. Will be back on it hard and fast in afternoon Keep up the good work. And imagine everybody's feeling of happiness if we get rns saying they are pleased to announce that having negotiated with various suppliers to transfer existing bills over to new company, there will be funds available to pay shareholders 1p a share. Or more I've never seen it but I don't doubt the world is changing. Travel and hospitality rely on the Internet, social media and reviews. It's everything to them don't underestimate how hard this will hit them. Keep up the posts. And repost on Facebook if you have already! :)
Judge Will look at taking out an ad too later. Was thinking a Toronto newspaper instead of here actually. TORONTO SUN?
Down to 1 star. Everybody who has already posted there can add a rating and comment. I have already, they have 59 ratings in total and just 2 out of 5 stars. Let's vote it down to 1 Can somebody post those TripAdvisor links please, I couldn't find and I want to ask people not to book with the cruiseprofessionals as their new owners cheated us.
Expressed frustrations today. What itravel2000 said on Facebook to us. If they're publicly saying thank you, when really they want us to go away, just shows how important it is for them to be respectable in public. Their reputation is at stake here. The company will suffer if they ignore us! So be heard. We have 24 posts from yesterday evening, let's get another 25 today I don't post on iii, can someone please spread the word there. Also any previous nvta holders will probably get involved too. get on advfn too, tell everyone to contact itravel2000 and the cruise professionals
For the justice system we can write to?
