Includes comments from Dr Eleanor Fish, e.g. :

"...Close scrutiny of the data in the MedRxiv preprint shows that the 10 cases that received interferon-beta and who did not require supplemental oxygen did exhibit a significantly improved outcome in the context of mortality, compared with the 13 who also did not require oxygen and were not treated with interferon..."

Even if double-blinded, it may be possible for the trial to be halted early due to "overwhelming efficacy" if they've included an independent "Data Monitoring Committee".

Provided there's a Data Monitoring Committee, then there is always the possibility that the trial can be halted early due to "overwhelming efficacy".

It's an old picture - it was in the August 2019 presentation.

I emailed Consilium about this question a while ago, and got this response :

Well there are potential competitors, e.g. this article today :

but "ILC Therapeutics is in the process of conducting further testing of Alfacyte and hopes to proceed to clinical trials by next year" so they're a long way behind.

That's how I see it too. And even more so if anyone is looking to buy the whole operation.
Pre permitting it was limited to 5 acres of disturbance (including access routes etc.).
