A company like Boral wouldn't need pozzolan customers, they already have their own. But they would be interested in whether the perlite by-product was usable as a pozzolan.

5 different customers - that's perlite customers of course. AFAIK Boral don't do perlite (yet), so if they bought CS for the pozzolan they might be quite pleased that the perlite bonus came with customers already in tow.

It contains some interesting statements, e.g. :

NB "expedite its strategies to secure viable alternate sources of fly ash supply" is in bold!

Terrafin, I tend to agree, all the evidence is pointing that way. For example, the wider area bulk sampling - why would a "customer" really need that?

@Lordbryon : Isn't it just because things are simpler if the company making the licence application is registered in Nevada?

@bobbybingo : I don't think we'll know until they publish the full trial details. But it's hard to see why they wouldn't.

This RNS looks pretty good to me, but one thing that surprised me was the absence of any mention of the Bay State Silver Project. We also noted that it was dropped from the company presentation back in August. This seems odd as they've already done quite a bit of drilling, and the knowledgeable poster intheno/AGEOS rated its prospects quite highly (which was one of the reasons I first invested here).

Various possible reasons spring to mind, e.g. :

1. There's some technical problem with it. For example I believe that significant existing workings can sometimes cause difficulties.

2. There's some sort of negotiation in progress, requiring confidentiality.

3. Anyone have any other ideas?

@bobbybingo : A double-blind trial can be stopped early if they have set up an independent Data Monitoring Committee, and this committee sees overwhelming benefit. Here is an example from just a few months ago :

If more people in the placebo group are prescribed dexamethasone than in the drug group, then I guess that will be interpretable as a positive result in itself?

@alubush : Trials would normally include a mechanism for unblinding of data relating to an individual in the case of an emergency. See e.g. Section 4 here :

Hi robortsmith, yes, let's not forget about LOXL2, though it's obviously a much smaller component of Synairgen now than it used to be.

As you say, the Pharmaxis (virtual) AGM is on 4 November, so they may be under some pressure as to why they _still_ haven't landed a deal.

17% of an upfront payment might be quite handy right now.
