... that, as a comparative newby to this site and these discussions, I'm finding it an absolute pleasure to read the opinions and analyses of this BT issue and many others. You all (well, most of you) make intelligent and well-researched points, and even the sometimes 'antagonistic banter' between the knowledgable is generally entertaining rather than antagonistic.

I was surprised the FT had nothing to say in this weekend's issue.

Likelihood is that the area is currently being earmarked for redevelopment (it looks like it needs it) but the council isn't yet in a position to announce it.

BoJo's not a backbench kinda guy, though. He'd just resign his seat and go to spend more time with his ever-increasing family. He has no care for what his resignation might mean for the party and his seat could go to Count Binface for all he cares.
