Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
Is that enough to make a good profit?
Is this the correct one? Looks like prices are getting stronger again if it is: http://www.indexmundi.com/commodities/?commodity=coal-south-african
Could you please remind me again where you track the current coal price applicable to SNR. How is the current price looking?
For those who attended the AGM, do you have any confidence in the management and prospects for SNR?
Do you think SNR will ever recover to the heights of 30p? I used to be a holder here, as the resource and infrastructure looked great. However the slump in coal prices , along with an extremely poor management was enough for me. Do you think this is a viable business?
Where next fro SNR. Anyone think they can recover from this?
Down another 8% currently. Game over SNR.
How long until they go bust? Would you give it another month?
So basically those invested here will get no return....money down the drain1
Down again.....what a dog of a share......
You seam quite clued up on the business here. For my benefit can you explain what typ of coal SNR would be exporting? Also where would I be able to track the coal price on a daily basis? Appreciate your help.
What's you thoughts on where the company goes from here. I was hoping to see a decent share price when the partner came on board...I doubt that will happen now.
Where did you hear that? If it's true, this, combined with the capitulation of the price in recent days is rather worrying. Do you think the company will recover?
You're correct, we don't know. As a shareholder here, I hope we do place the shares at 25-30p...but we're hardly negotiating from a position of strength right now. There's very little interest in this share right now, hence the current levels we're at.
I can - the company has no money and is away to go bust, if they don't go bust then there'll be a massive placing and major dilution to existing shareholders. The coal price has collapsed meaning there is little profit in current mining operations. There's no interest in the shares and now the institutional investors are flogging their shares? Is there another problem I'm missing?
As at 26 August 2013 the Group had cash reserves of £73k. Based upon projections this will fund operations for 2 weeks, creditors are currently being carefully managed and credit terms extended. In the event that funds cannot be raised before this date, the Group will be in default. The loan is secured on the wash plant, stockpiles and 8% of the shares of Elitheni and LCL have the option to convert the loan into shares in the company. Should further funding not be available the Group may not be able to realise its assets and discharge its liabilities in the normal course of business. These conditions indicate the existence of a material uncertainty which may cast significant doubt about the Group's ability to continue as a going concern. The financial statements do not include the adjustments that would result if the Group was unable to continue as a going concern.
substp, sorry for the lack of knowledge on coal types, but what's the significance of HVA and how does this effect the company? Thanks in advance
The communication from this company is poor to say the least. Also meeting timeframes, as they have demonstrated, doesn't happen either. If they are indeed filling all of their skiptainers, why keep that info from the market? Why the complete lack of communication? I hope I'm wrong, but I can see a big drop coming here. I'll top up if there is one.....
Thanks for the post. I see the current cash balance is $12.7M. I'm keen to start accumulating here and with RKH as the long term prospects look good. Might try a low ball limit order - but with the share price currently sitting at a 52 week low, not sure if it will be filled.
Current level is tempting for dipping my toes back in here again. The drill prospects in 2014 look good. Anyone know how much cash DES currently have in the bank? I know they're looking for a farm-in partner, at present. What's the chances of a placing occurring?
