Not just India. I think it was on Panarama programme 2-3 weeks ago?! Global warming is causing enormous, biblical scale dust clouds to form in Mongolia, that then roll over China collecting pollution as they move, making the air literally dangerous to breathe.

The kids in parts of South Korea cannot play outside; the air is that dangerous. Because of coal pollution being sucked into a dust cloud formed in Mongolia. Terrible situation. Just awful.

Co-firing a coal-substitute along side coal appears to be the direction of travel. World-wide, hopefully.

Watered down or not, coal is on the way out. It’s hard to think of a product with such an enormous demand, all at once, right now.

Interesting that India is struggling to find enough coal to supply its power-stations. And that's before the world starts to shift away from digging the stuff up.

Today is Energy Day @ COP26 where the focus is to try and stop the entire world burning coal (the dirtiest fossil fuel).

We know Australia knows about Coalswtich, from their COP26 draft briefing notes (posted on ADVFN and echoed by a post on Alpha Prospects website).

If the Australian delegation says the word “Coalswitch” out loud @ COP26, in defence of Australia’s interests (as per their briefing notes) the scenario you describe (massive interest) may come about quite rapidly.
