The EPL was announced 26 May
CA RNS 30 June stated:
"...the Fund expects to return a further 10p a share (representing a gross return of £8.3 million) by mid-August 2022 and to have returned an additional 60p a share (equivalent to £50 million) by the end of September 2022....."
The 10p has been paid. So where will the 60p dividend (£50 mill) come from? CA don't make statement lightly. From HUR, or sale of most of all other assets? Their next biggest holding is De La Rue worth circa £20 mill.
If HUR, is deal still live? Or derailed by EPL impact (knocked HUR SP by circa 3p) & recalcitrant HUR BoD, causing buyer to run?
If CA 60p by end Sept comes from HUR, would surely be SP fireworks soon as time running out?
If CA 60p by end Sept comes from other CA assets, CA will be with HUR for a while longer so must push for speedy P8 as will be largely an EPL funded freebie with minor cost risk but huge upside SP potential if speedy?
If CA 60p by end Sept does not transpire, must mean HUR deal was in place buy fell through? (CA said would expect 60p but was not a promise
