it's ceo & cfo job to write RNSx. the 2 new NEDs (one is chair) can lean on them to make RNSs balanced but cannot say' you can't write RNSs anymore, we will write them.' that would be invading CEO & CFO ambit of responsibility and they could both throw toys out of pram, depart and claim constructive dismissal
the relevant question seems to be what authority do CEO & CFO have to issue RNS - ie. are they obliged to clear content with Board majority vote before issuing? no one has addressed that question yet - likely cos none of us know the answer

you could open a thread re emailing FCA with their correct email address, and invite SHs simply copy their HUR email to the FCA!. The title of peeps email could be (think of a good one) - eg the same as the email heading to NEDs and text could be. 'See below email to 2 new HUR NEDs
I request you conduct a similar investigation to that which the Crystal Aber Fund has requested, and which my below email supports.

At July court hearing, CA counsel was supported by circa 400 SH emails to court. Hence HUR board & bondholder QCs attempt to portray CA as sole entity troublemaker complainant died in the water. Judge made repeated reference to voluminous SH representations. These assisted him in being able to issue categoric judgement leaving no room for appeal.

100 emails will assist the 2 NEDs in facing down any investigation obstruction by CEO Maris & CFO Chaffe, & bondholders. They will also more generally empower the NEDs in any future boardroom tussles, eg: in preventing unbalanced and moody RNS's being issue. 100 emails is a powerful message, exceptionally difficult to ignore

I write to support The Crystal Amber Fund request that a committee (comprising the non-executive directors) be established with a mandate to investigate certain matters. Principally (in lay terms):-

1. Why Bonds were not bought back until August 2021, at only a discount of 22%. And not at any earlier time, when a discount of up to 70% was available

2. Why circa $17 million was expended on a restructuring plan which the High Court rejected out of hand.

3. Is their evidence of collusion or conspiracy between the then Board and Bondholders?
