mid covid with PoO crashed. bondholders have you by the b*lls for $230 mill. you can buy bonds in marketplace for 35c in S, precisely because of Covid & PoO crash. you have $70-$80 mill cash in bank. what do you do????

pipey - i get it that ERCE may be accurate. but it is absolute common sense not to trust ANYTHING touched by old BoD, I would say it would be negligent if one did. I view the cost of a 3rd CPR as being absolute good use of HUR funds

The approaching next offload will see, bar the shouting, the bond repayment cash issue settled. With 2 offloads cash profit to be deducted from the current circa $70 mill shortfall, the shortfall should be less than $30 mill.

This sea change in HUR's finances, allied to a likely re-rate, will not go unnoticed by institutions which I believe will have been cautiously awaiting a 'safety tip-over point' before investing.

With CA & Kerogen holding circa 43%-44% of HUR shares, and many LTHs having 'sticky hands' and not being prepared to sell until something approaching fair value is achieved, I do not believe that the 'free float' of HUR shares is as large as many would imagine.

Instinct tells me that quiet December, with risk minimised and SP still low, will see institutional buying before the January offload occurs and HUR has full bond repayment cash in it's coffers.

Put another way - given the gay alacrity and abandon with which the BoD placed $17 million worth of volumes of selective, flawed data before a High Court judge - to con, deceive and manipulate him into producing a rubber stamp - how much faith would you have in that same BoD providing objective, balanced, non-selective, unflawed data to ERCE, for a report costing circa $1 million, to be included within that same $17 million worth of selective, flawed data to be laid before the judge.

Brent at $82 remains HUR's best friend, in spades. Despite current headwinds, and likely some still to come (Covid mini lockdowns?) I would prefer to be a bull than a bear

pay bonds off, refinance for wells elsewhere, private or company investor, farm in - anything is preferable

they will be, merely 4-5 months post court failure, be mega peed off and awaiting any black swan event to complete original intention
rid of bondholders - support link between maris chaffe & them severed - easier to control maris & chaffe
get rid of maris & chaffe as soon as time and strategy permits
