Not sure I understand, what sort of "debate" would you prefer? People are taking about a last minute RNS/commercial progress and I don't see any evidence for this beyond blind hope.

Not the first time this accusation has been levied against me - it's true. But if you'd like to....debate, I'm always here for it.

Because there's as much chance of it landing in these two weeks as any two weeks which means if an RNS was guaranteed to hit in 2024 (it isn't), there'd be a 1 in 26 chance of it hitting between now and the AGM. The next two weeks aren't special, the upcoming AGM doesn't imbue them with any special RNS qualities.

what hasn't happened:

Maersk hasn't signed a contract or otherwise agreed to use Danone's or anyone's biofuel across it's fleet.

What's happened:

Maersk has signed a pledge with the contractual force of...an MOU, which they signed with us.

What will happen:

Absolutely nothing. Maersk does this to stay in the headlines every couple of months. Indeed, in the same article Maersk states:

"The big challenge remains the large price gap with green fuels which is still two to three times higher than fossil fuels, according to Maersk sources."

This price gap has a singular solution: MSAR. If you think any shipping company are switching from fuel A to fuel B which is three times the price, you're out of your mind.
